dash warning light help

What they said.

The brake fluid reservoir doesn't contain enough liquid to cope with the wearing down of the brake pads completely. So you might be better off double checking those and replacing them if they're a bit thin (just like tyres, they work less effectively as the pad wears down).

As doublet.says, it acts like a pad wear indicator so that would always be my first port of call.

Checked it over fri evening and the drivers front caliper bolt was leaking slightly, nipped it up a little and topped up the fluid, checked again sat afternoon after driving all the way to Hereford and it seems fine now, thanks all
