rpsmith79
It doesn't fit into a 5, don't know if there is much more room in a 6 than a 5 Failing that, old blanket on the roof, bonnet on top and strap it down
izzzzythedog
it doesnt , the 5 has a bit of metal the 6 doesnt have , the bit inbetween the headlights , because of this it doesnt go , a 6 goes into a 6 ( just ) , a 5 cant go into a 6 , a 5 cant go into a 5 when i collected the cs bonnet in my beams i dropped in onto the open boot aperture , couple of pillows then tied the boot lid down onto the bonnet , noisey but did the job

arizona
I am in surrey might be able to get it in the van dependant on where it is Hi Its a bit of a trek its at Bigb1970s' place in Braintree but we have a gen 6 here so we should be ok with either tying the boot down or putting it on the roof and strapping it well (i just have to convince the other half it wont hurt his new car ) but thanks for the possible offer there, its Braintree to Godstone so a bit of a pita unless you had anything planned already that way. Thanks to ttech, izzzzythedog and rpsmith - looks like we'll be able to get it on or part in which is fine And in that moment of inspiration you get on waking sometimes - why did i not think, i have only to undo 4 bolts to try the new bonnet off the 5 into the 6 doh
