shaungt4 Posted September 29, 2011 Report Share Posted September 29, 2011 i dun mine on my gen 5 with ordinary spray paint . but saying that i have heat wraped the manifold and also put a heat mat on the inside of the cover to i also wraped the brackets that the cover bolts to and its still as the day i sprayed it ho and i toped it of with a heat clear coat Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mrsoundcraft Posted October 2, 2011 Report Share Posted October 2, 2011 I used Hycote silver VHT paint. £5 for the can, its not shiny but it is silver (or grey if you dont like it) The hardest part was re fitting the shields without scratching the paint off as it doesnt cure properly till its been heated up.
