    I think water has found its way between the friction material and backing plate and over a number of years it has been quietly corroding. Now you need some new rear discs because those look like they have worn below their service limit.

    That's too cheap. A decent wrap will be near £1000 if you want it to last. It's a pity you're too far from Northampton, my brother would have been happy to give you a quote.

    As usual, you get what you pay for. It's possible to get vinyl that is guaranteed for five years against peeling, cracking, fading etc, but not everyone is willing to pay the extra. Some vinyl is only intended to be used on temporary signs and short term advertising such as you'll see on taxi's and buses. It's another case of "buyer beware".

    There will always be pampered, well looked after examples of any car. The trick is to be patient and wait for them to come onto the market and then act quickly before someone else gets them. It took me just over a year to find a virtually rust free Gen'5 and lots of disappointing journeys back and forth, but I finally found one for a great price. The best of luck with your search.

    After watching this fiter review I'm a little concerned. Take a close look at the three Toyota filters that have the same part number, but vary greatly in their build quality.

    Don't forget to add the VAT and Royal Mail £8.00 processing fee to your calculations or those cheaper stateside goods could end up being more expensive than buying them here in the UK.

    It's possible to completely strip and rebuild toyota locks/barrels, I did it to mine. Just make sure the pins go back in the same order they were in.

    I certainly wouldn't pay that for an ST model with only an 1800cc engine, much better to go for the two litre GT version.
