  1. I have one in mind, will get the pic the weekend if I get chance
  2. Haven't updated for a while had this arrive recently: Primer for my centre console, Satin black spray for my centre console, Tailgate lights bulbs, and rear fog as ordered the wrong one, Carbon dipped interior handles, New custom front badge. New wheel paint. Hopefully manage to do it all prior to the New Forest meet.
  3. Had a teenager say cool car when I parked at home on Tuesday evening, came out Wednesday to find it iced up with nice car wrote across the window, should have got a pic, it looked good in the ice. I assume this happened before it started freezing as was a nightmare to scrape off.
  4. The moon on the left, flight in the middle, headlights on the right (Celica)
  5. This post seems to have stopped moving so as some motivation I took this pic tonight apologies for the quality
  6. I had the same problem if you are able to make an international call tell them you do not have the slip to hand and they will do it just on the reg if you put pressure on them.
  7. I know they say learning from your mistakes is best but I think we can all learn from this one
  8. I had one driving a grey golf smash my o/s mirror glass today, drove off as I was stuck in traffic (luckily for her) I couldn't get her reg. lucky for me I know what area she lives as recognised her so will find her at some point. Ps no offence intended to anyone, just local language used for me.
  9. You should write to Tesco, I used to deal with them a lot in my old career, they are very considerate, explain that due to the situation and the weather you ended having an accident being a regular shopper there and you may not shop in there stores again, highlight that you are considering writing a blog on CCUK outlining your disappointment or that you already have, guarantee you get something for it, will be worth the time writing a letter as they have a standard amount they give to protect there rep (more than my weekly shop in value for a home of five ;-)
  10. My Prius' and Auris' sat nav systems weren't the best, but were a lot better than the vw and ken wood one in my other cars at the time. It depends on the user I think to what system is best for you. I had a really expensive one in my Celica when I bought the car but it was crap so got another for less than quarter of the price and this much better, more reliable and better for the way I use it. I think if you are an iPhone user you will prefer a different sat nav system to a blackberry user it the way we get used to accessing information on a daily basis effecting how we streamlining using nav systems, or you can set your toyota ones to voice activated sat nav as I always used when driving short distances, so much simpler, probably even better if you don't have an accent like me ;-)
  11. A guy I work with driving a merc lorry hit a swan, it survived his windscreen didn't.
  12. I feel for you man, they don't need there fingers cut off they need you to have ten mins with them, the passion of a Celica owner is always more powerful. I had someone try and steal my Celica last year when I was getting into it, broke my hand and only hit him once, he didn't get back up though sadly ;-) and he didn't manage to hit me once. Got to love the lagoon blue at night when clean reflects well. I need to give advice to ALL of YOU on cameras if you have cameras on your property ensure that they do not show any public spaces when recording or the footage can be classed as non credible due to being illegal. My advice is if you have a long drive make sure you cover no more than your drive with your cameras field of view. If like me your drive way is quite short, I advise using something weatherproof like electrical tape and cutting it so that it covers public areas shown on your camera cheap alternative to doing it using software. If you have any questions please do feel free to contact me and I will help how I can. Alternatively if you have Police Community Support Officers they can normally get someone to check your system is legal for you, as it assists them in reducing crime in the area. Before any remarks I am not a criminal I work on the right side of the law ;-)
  13. I got one for you just need to wait until the moon is up ;-) if the clouds clear
  14. The Bristol Suspension bridge was the inspiration.
  15. The more famous or unique the bridge the better ;-)

Anyone here with a standard gen 7 Gt I live near speed ramps, I cannot get into the new estate where I live without hitting them (not physically) have a vvti 140 gen 7 at present but am lookin to pick up a GT maybe even by the end of this week. Just wondered how well the GT clears these ramps as don't want to pick it up and find I can't get it home, I will be driving sensibly over them of course. Thanks for the help
