  1. Happy Anniversary Digitalghost!

  2. Seems steep for alignment. Most I have paid is about £45 for laser alignment/geometry.
  3. I flash at people (with my lights, thought I would clarify) and mostly get acknowledged.
  4. Bit worrying all that really. You would think that after they cocked up it should just get thrown out of court, but no, it seems the incompetence continues. And what was the woman on about! If you are in a position to be dealing out judgement in law, then you should be at the level to understand reasonably complex documents. Stupid f'ing bint.
  5. Happy Anniversary Digitalghost!

  6. Like I said before, the Police are supposed to uphold and enforce the law, not make it up or do what they want as they go along. British police, unlike most forces around the world are here for the protection of the people, not the State. Seems some could do with reminding of that.
  7. A lot of the people I go to wave at in a 7 around this way are mid 60's onwards. I wave at 6's and they wave back, mainly.
  8. Police are there to enforce and uphold the law. They have to follow it the same as the rest of us, but sadly the ones I have ever dealt with seem to forget that.
  9. Personally, and this is just what I would do and what you do is up to you, but I wouldn't do anything. Pay the fine and carry on.
  10. I think you can get a bit of wiring to keep the light off. I think I saw it on the Demon Tweeks website. I've never had to remove a steering wheel with an airbag so don't know what needs to be done.
  11. Was in WH Smiths earlier flicking through this mag (I think it was called Jap Performance) and there is an article on a Gen 1 Celi and an article on a tuned GT86.
  12. Phone holder I do believe. Either that or he is a massive Trekie!
  13. I wanted a new steering wheel but I didn't want to pay the crazy money for one new. So I went to eBay and got myself a Momo 'Tuner' wheel for ... £26! Just looked on Demon Tweeks and they are £155.69 new. The one I've bought has hardly been used, and is pretty much spotless. Result! Just got to get the boss now! lol
  14. I believe Ita painted his visors to match his alcantara headlining. So yeah, put it would be hard not soft.
  15. See, now that kinda thing from the Police really pisses me off. I had the same kinda thing happen to me by some fucking retard off duty copper who followed me onto my driveway. He was the one who gave me the producer for my horn not working - technically it did. He left our 'discussion' by saying that he would leave it for 3 days until he was back on duty to let me know if he was going to do me for reckless driving. When I took my signed paperwork for the producer to the cop shop, I told the officer who I was dealing with about the cop and what he had said on my driveway. He said I should make a formal complaint. By saying he 'may' check up on you is neither one thing or the other. He either has an official problem with your car or he is taking the piss and messing you around.
  16. Sorry, bit tired and may have missed something, but did he give you a producer or something? I had a producer given me for a horn that wasn't working ... took it to the garage I use, got it signed to say all was OK then took it to the Police station and job was a good 'un. No-one looked at my car again. If you haven't been asked to get it checked or given a producer, get it quietened down a bit and carry on driving around.
  17. Noooooooooooo, they aren't a sunroof, they are a moonroof! That's what it said on my sticker anyway. lol
  18. I've had two 205's and I like 'em! I paid £2800 for the one I have now which has a few little niggles, but then I bought it knowing that. I'm lucky in that I have another car I can use when it goes into the garage or when I refuse to fund Shell any more! lol I was looking at cars around the country before I got the one I have now, which were mainly around the £4k mark. One was on GT4OC and was a mint standard one, the other was a heavily modded one on Pistonheads. I chose mine cos a) it was local and had a good service history and was basically standard meaning I could make it what I wanted. If you can afford one and afford to run it, great. If not, leave it 'til you can.
  19. I'v e saved the link. May pop up there in the future for some work.
