  1. It's foam mate, I know because that's what I poked my trd badge into lol
  2. Different side seat but you can see the difference the sponges made. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Has the colour worn away or does it just look faded? When I bought my blue edition the seats where dull and faded, I used a magic sponge on them. You can get them off eBay. Bit of warm water with it and they came up like new,
  4. I'd say so mate, you have the bonnet grill for heat to escape
  5. I had one on my gen 6 but I bought it used from eBay, couldn't fault the build quality though
  6. Your best bet is to find an auto paint place that can mix something up to match the others. Otherwise you'll have to just buy a few silvers and find the best match yourself. Can you not contact who you bought the car off and ask what paint they used?
  7. Got a pic of your wheels? Are they a bright silver or a bit darker
  8. I've had a few recently, seem to get more now the valance, lip and dynamic skirts are on. When I was getting the clutch done last Friday a bloke with his dad came out and said "nice looking motor that is t it dad" his dad said "I wish they where around when I was younger" then started saying something about pigeons in the engine lol I didn't really get that bit!
  9. You'll have to let me know when your at three sisters! Not far from me! I used to bmx there back in the day
  10. Extension for the valance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Happy 4 Anniversary matt1280!

  12. The handbrake is a drum brake set up. I'd get the wheel off and try and back the shoes off. You can do this by the turning the disc till the hole is at 6 o'clock, take out the rubber grommet and you'll see a cog, turn that with a flat head screwdriver, can't remember if it's up or down. Once loosened off you will probably need to give the drum of the disc a few sacks with a rubber mallet to loosen the disc. You should then be able to take the disc off and have a look. It might need a new handbrake cable if it's the cable sticking.
  13. If it was mine I'd have all silver and just the centre of the lip black like you said, I can imagine it looking awesome
  14. Yeah that could work mate, only one way to find out
  15. All silver with silver lip! It would look clean and fresh :-)
  16. I know how you feel mate! The petrol tank leaking before the mot was the final straw with my old gen 6, but I got another fitted and sold it, I didn't want it to be scrapped. I miss it sometimes but I'm still very happy with my gen 7! You have got to draw the line somewhere with spending on it. It's an oil burner as well isn't it? Just keep a look out for a nice gt or try a gen 7 or even gt86 if you can!
  17. The dress panels are easy to make so a nice inexpensive mod
  18. Heat wrap, polish anything metal and make some homemade dress panels. This was my st engine bay
  19. My old gen 6s alternator died on me and that was similar, but if you've charged the battery and it still won't start I don't think it will be that. Not an immobiliser problem?
  20. Buy a piece of chequer aluminium sheet off eBay, cut to size with a jigsaw or ask them to cut to size, file edges and drill each corner of plate and through the mat, then attach with small nuts and bolts. That's what I did to my hyper mats in my gen 6. The holes are that small through the mat if you did decide to remove you wouldn't see them
