  2. also will come in handy for shrink wrap on wireing joins...
  3. Comment from wife after first and last drive in my Celi... "its too low, too loud and wayyy to bumpy.. i never want to drive that thing again!" ....... Happy Days,
  4. A couple of Ku39 Kumhos to go with the two I fitted on the rear a few weeks ago, these tyres are suprisingly good, especialy in the wet, and at around £68 a pop well worth a shout. Sent from my GT-P5110 using Tapatalk 4
  5. i always go a month early, the original mot counts if the plod pull you or you need tax but its common sense to get her fixed as soon as and retested cos the pass certificate will have as much as 13 months on as it runs from the expire date of the previous one.
  6. I have Blox extended on, wheels been off quite a few times, no probs with the threads, just torque em up right. Just be careful of inferior copys.
  7. Could be a heat related thing, check the seals on the sections where the gaskets are and around the manifold, when it got hot things expand and seal, see if its noisy when cold again.
  8. Ok for your standard reving motors but for peeps who like to enter lift and are hitting 8000rpm or more a higher quality with the best shear qualitys imo is a must and as mentioned the added aditives are a bonus... just my opinion mind.
  9. Drilled and grooved are as gud as the plain ones, as already mentioned, drilled can under extreme braking split. Prob only on cheap chinease ones though. Grooved ones are the ones to get and they look good too.
  10. They look very similar to the Dotz alloys I got on mine but notin white.
  11. Happy Anniversary Trebor4460!

  12. or you could re-position it in the fag tray pocket..i made a little plate to hold it,wrapped it, fits real nice...
  13. i like plasmas, the white dials look good. pain in the ass hiding the inverter though.
  14. i use this 1 from opies.. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68896-fuchs-titan-race-pro-s-5w-30-ester-synthetic-engine-oil.aspx
  15. If it is a Toyota one call in too a main dealer and ask if they will get their Master set out they will then use this to determine the number of the lock and then you can order a new one...just dont get a puncture in the mean time : D
  16. Pull a spark plug and see what the colour of the tip is... this will give you a rough idea if its burning rich or oil. Google a plug colour chart if you aint use to doing plug chops.
  17. Ran mine on vpower for a few months.. no difference in performance and mpg was on a par with the regular stuff.. less milage per pound obviously because of the expense of the stuff. On a plus side the suposadly cleaning adititives might be doing some good. If I was a sceptical guy the term Snake oil might be apropriate..
  18. Looks cool though you might regret the loss of the rim protector when the mrs rims your alloys..
  19. i gotta real big breaker bar that did them.. mind u i had to cut off the speed senser bolt.. seized and rounded.. anyways, both off now and only one cut finger.. gonna cut the drop links off at the roll bar end and then call it a day...gonna have a few beers tnight
  20. thx buddy, only one way to deal with the bloody drop links...brute force and ignorance... ..the old Angle grinder to the rescue.. Anti roll bar end can be chopped when the struts out.
  21. Well Plusgas and plenty of patience in hand.. just started to fit the Apex lowering springs... got all weekend to do the job so wish me luck with these 12 year old nuts and bolts...
  22. Set of Apex springs... not lookin forward to fitting these.. still be worth it to get rid of my 4x4 image...
  23. Set of front drop links... just waiting for the apex springs then grazed knuckles and plenty of swear words when I fit em..
