  1. Cheers Lol My 7 sits around 1.5/2 inches from the ground (the lip anyhows) haha. Ill update of the cost tomorrow once i ring the dreaded bodyshop lol I felt sorry for it when i seen it go under the car, but when i stopped and looked at the lip.. i was like yeah im glad you died - bastard!
  2. Ohh look people cant even see the new posts lol
  3. Some of yous will of seen on facebook but for those who havent.. Last night i hit a rabbit and i seem to have broke my car... I have nice rabbit guts all over my grill too .. lovely So the damage so far which on quick inspection. Lip is nakrd - needs repair - more so just paint i think Grill has been pushed back and popped out - need fixing No idea if anything else has happened. Worse of all ... its the NE photoshoot on Saturday and needed calendar pictures etc!! :'( So now my job is from now till friday morning - get the bumper and lip repainted and fixed and back on the car all ready for Saturday However - on the plus side, its an excuse to get rid of my stone chips which have evaded the front end. Wish me luck Sad time for me
  4. Wrap is a sticker lol. You need to stick it smooth it heat it etc etc. or you could pay rpsmith to do it for you The cig lighter may be on a plastic bolt. Of there is one, remove it and it will come out from the front. Be careful wrapping it though as its not as easy as it looks. Edit: look on the pic I put on of no cig lighter. Notice how there is a space on the bottom of the whole. That's where it twists and comes out
  5. Doesn't need sanding. As if you remove the wrap you have nakd your console. Clean it thoroughly - don't use soapy water as can damage the adhesive of the wrap. Cig lighter Remove power leads from it then it twists one way from the back and comes out as a whole
  6. Dismantled and wrapped should be like this The heater unit obviously is separate. Not on this photo though. If you have dials like me they pull off. Cc I'm not sure think the front just comes off. Ashtray is on a clip and so is cubby whole Clock unit is screwed? Have fun don't forget where clock dome is you need to overlap it
  7. Lmao I didn't see this - what happened?
  8. I painted the inside of my headlights and stuck some in Pics were before my hids and car looks a little different to this now haha Unfortunately... None of the strip lights work now? Haha
  9. The gear stick and springs are seeing who can reach the sky first Haha only messing. Looking good buddy, I think ima Gunna get one of them covers
  10. I can't get my head around these. The time it takes to press the button - you could just turn the key?
  11. The corolla is the Celica 'hatch'. They have the same floor plan and everything - according to the owner of the fensport celi I would stick with the celi however after seeing harwoods corolla they're actually quite nice
  12. The fuzz noise is interference from the wires. The signal needs to run down the other side of the car to the power otherwise you'll get the electrical interference. It shouldnt have drained your battery either, what is the remote wire connected to? Is it taking constant live power? The remote should go on a switch or something like your cig lighter to come on with the ignition.
  13. Haven't laughed this early on a morning for ages hahaha. Scoobys are ugly but I bet they're fun to play in
  14. 53 plate t sport 77k miles £4000 There is a 55 plate but it's black and that's £3999. I hate the variation in these daft prices these days. Why can't my car be worth what I paid or just under rather than thousands less
  15. Take the cap of under bonnet to release pressure. When you push them back make sure it doesn't over flow as you'll have no paint left. Get someone to stand and check
  16. Lol love it. Could you not just tell the border it's used and cleaned up really well? do they check everything? Never had to pay import tax dunno how it works
  17. I paid £5500 for my car last april lol (apr 2010) which the prices were about that then These days value of the celi has just rocketted
  18. What is a gen 7 t sport worth these days. 53 reg - facelift - late 2003 80k miles spotless inside and out .. then i may be surprising you all with something
  19. Few days before I picked her up: And now: Bit of a transformation
  20. Has to be the stupid slow engine toyota thought would be a good idea for a sports coupe... .. a turbo wouldnt go a miss And the lack of tuning options without the need for millions of pounds
  21. I got quoted £55 per wheel plus a courtesy car. That was for custom colours so 2 different colours rather than all one. All one colour I can get done for £170 cheapest I've found. Mikey
  22. Well i thought my clutch was slipping but tried pulling away in 6th (with handbrake on) and the car just stalled so my clutch isnt slipping i dont think? I was getting to 4k revs in second gear and flooring it messing about but every time i dipped the accelerator a weird thing happened. So to explain, drive up to 4k revs 2nd gear let off acc put back on the floor and tap foot up and down.. sort of to make the car kangeroo with g force, coz my passenger had a bad neck so i was messing about. Anywaysssssssssss, The car was just 'slipping' sort of thing, revs rising but no movement - loss of power - then it gathers the 'bite' again as if the clutch was slipping and its just caught it after a dip of power. Only seems to happen in second gear at 4k revs.. i think - havent really tried any higher. Or is it the clutch? As 4k revs its gunna bite faster? All other driving seems fine just at that revs in that gear. Probably the most confusing post ive ever posted but nevermind, someone will understand Cheers big ears Mikey
