If anybody read my thread sadly i had to get rid of my gen7 for needing the money and got a cheap ford puma 1.7 for £880. No comparison but for the money a good little car. Now my girlfriends car has blown up and money is really tight. My friend has offered me his Ford cougar v6 in gd nick for £400. I have no idea what there like but it does seem a bargain. But im temped to streatch the budget if i can and get a gen6 gt. Whats the GT like. Does it have more low down power than the gen7 and what is it generally like. Equally if anyone has experience with the cougar any info on the engine drivability and handling of the car would be great. Thanks guys. This is truly a place for great advice

That is a stunning example. I might have to get out and see one in the flesh and take it for a spin. You lot are filling my head with ideas, i think i might go and buy something quite stupid with alot of boost lol

Id love a GT4, i love the aggressive looks, assume it would have great power and handling and also on the plus side still would be driving a celica but reading through lots of threads on here as spend most of my time doing lol (much to my girl friends dislike). Its seems like they can become a bottomless pit, with high running costs and lots of parts that are liable to need replacing

I drove a seat leon cupra today and became adicted to boost. could not stop using the turbo. If only i had the money to supercharge my gen 7 but sadly not. Might have to think about changing to something boosted, but dont think i could say good bye to my celica, im just too attached

I do 100 tops a week. i never normally do anything other than short 3 mile trip from my girl friends and back and picking people up from the station. So every couple of weeks i try and go on a bit of a run because i figure it cant be good for my car only doing short journeys. What do you guys reckon, is it harmful?

My girl friend looooves the looks but hates the exhaust and induction kit noise, and hates driving it because she cannot work the gears and feels nervous sitting so low. Oh and she wines that its too bumpy and hard to get in out out because it too low apparently lol.

Hey My girl friends 106 has seen better days and had cut out a couple of times and its so old and has hardly any paint left so we can safely say its time to scrap it I was just wondering what sort of money i could expect to get for it to give me an idea so i don't get ripped of, i live in Banstead in Surrey if anybody can recommend anywhere locally.
