  1. No brainer, keep the gen 7 for work and if you have spare cash and can afford to have the GT4 as a plaything then do it BUT if it going wrong anytime is going to cause you worry to be listening for any little thing when you are driving it then dont do it.
  2. Noted ta , will heads up Ken too he uses that on the gixer sometimes
  3. I'm not a fan of the leather in gen 7's it doesnt seem anywhere near the quality of the gen 6 ones. In the gen 6 they look far better than the fabric ones, easy to clean and not noticed any problems when driving enthusiastically
  4. I was over your way this morning, driving like a granny on the 35 profiles where is the fekker ?
  5. Bloody hell , hope you dont have any hassle getting that sorted quickly if you need a spare proper wheel to use in the meantime i might have something the right size? Let me know We weren't going but last minute decision yesterday
  6. Godstone Hoping it wont last long, dont want to be missing JAE this year
  7. I wont be, lack of job at mo means limited funds
  8. nasty perhaps one of the coloured type polishes or pens? wonder if Toyota do a filler pen type corrector in the colour?
  9. collect+ is good prices, service and easy to use for large stuff like car interiors, bonnets, whole cars i use shiply.com
  10. I like my chronos white but yep agreed the colour yours are look good and how about if you want something a bit different, jeep them that colour and get Mook to do some decals in a vibrant orange or green rather than the standard red? Love the blue on Wickies
  11. builder gets it from a panel beater to pay a bill.......sounds familiar eh reworx strikes again
  12. Thanks all, its running, if a bit lumpy so we followed for the short journey with tow rope at the ready.
  13. This was what concerned me, owner has looked it up and it seems a few miles is ok but not any further. I'm just a bit concerned if it could cause damage Ady i'm going to ask James in the morning when i see him, he does recovery and he'll know for certain. Dont want to risk further damage but if its ok to be one carefully then no prob
  14. Anyone know if anything special has to be done or can an automatic celica be towed
  15. Not in the post but today i picked up my xmas pressie from MrRizla :xmas_biggrin: and while was there this to go with it seeing as was on special if you bought the drill :xmas_cool:
  16. battery off, handbrake off, make sure nothing left in there that could cause damp (even bottles of cleaning fluid etc) and pop one of those disposable dehumidifier thingies or a bowl with some bicarb of soda in there and that will absorb any moisture. other than that no need to do anything else, tbh i wouldnt bother putting it up on axle stands for that short a time but dont forget to leave the handbrake off tis the biggest pain in the neck otherwise
  17. might be combo of sticky caliper sliders and stuck handbrake shoes
  18. 3mm further out or is that 3cm......
  19. I was about to say red rubber grease, I remember Ade telling me when he was doing my ones
  20. When i had a vac hose off the gt4 it wouldnt run for more than a few seconds, not sure if the breakers would actually need it to run. A lot of cars they pick up arent running, what they sometimes stipulate is rolling so they are more concerned about seized on brakes or no wheels so can winch it onto a flatbed
  21. Maybe? couple of people have mentioned curren rear lights instead for mine in the past, could it be a prefacelift/facelift thing? Here you go Monkey you could buy that one and do this...
