Yep you always get a handfull of nutters on bikes showing off, but the pita guys are the scooby drivers who turn up a lot of friday/saturday nights doing rolling burnouts and flying up and down that bit of road outside when the bikes are there. When i've been there most of the bikes will be parked up while the owners are standing watching the stupids pulling their wheelies up the road. Alot of people start leaving when the scoobys turn up as it just gets downright dangerous then

x2 you need the good ol bulletproofness of the gen 6. My first ST i wanted to replace after a couple of years with a newer smarter Celica but i thought i'd drive that into the ground first and get rid when it failed an mot. Five years after that with no looking after whatsoever, bit of oil chucked in it occasionally when the light came on. She ran and ran. Finally then the exhaust went and i got rid for spares, cant beat their reliability Plus £500/£600 gets you a lot of car, you wont get a little runaround half as good for the same money

My first thought too was yuk its an auto (limits resale as not many people want them) Then long mot (how long do they call long?) for that price would expect a fresh one Mileage good and low and looks looked after but is it due a cambelt change, if so, will they include in price? Otherwise if auto suits him and he likes looks like a clean one, though would still try and get for less, is a little steep imo but thats garage prices for you

I can count a few i know on my fingers and most who have done so have regretted it though, the others i reckon did but never mentioned it. Nearly all were paying for their loans still long after the cars had gone

ouchie ouchie, this 8 grand over 3 years is high payments each month are you still going to be living at home for the next few years? you say 'for now' a lot can change and thats a big lot of money plus 3 grand of that is part of a loan taken out to pay off debt, so now added to what you want to buy the car to pay that loan off too , thats nuts

Loan- not a smart move, cos you'll also be spending a fair bit faffing too no doubt Why not keep this one for another year, put the money you'd pay on the loan in a separate account called GT4 acoount

Thats a lovely looking car Tough decision but, would you use a GT4 to its full potential, really? If so then yes, otherwise would keep this for definate

Not far from me there is a yellow celica that lives sealed in a box in a barn with only a few hundred miles on the clock, i dont know what gen it is but apparently one of 50 produced as some sort of special edition. I wonder when that will see the light of day
