  1. I have a Richbrook which hasn't faded, gives good reception, and has been on for around seven years.
  2. I think that is the point. You wouldn't probably bump up the price you were prepared to pay for something you wanted by highlighting it on here, yet you don't mind doing the same thing for others Still, it's a free country, with no hard and fast rules on this subject
  3. There MAY be a few Gen 7 owners who have just crossed you off their Xmas card list, Mike.
  4. Locked in to CCUK for over eight years now. You get less than that for murder these days
  5. Agreed. My smart charger cost £13 from Lidl..bargain.
  6. The Gen 7 should have 205/45/17. You would notice a difference in acceleration as the two sizes you mention are either side of 205/45 as regards rolling radius. If you don't mind a slower 0-60, the 215/45 will offer more comfort as mentioned above, and fill the arches a little better. As Arizona mentioned, unless you have a face lift TS or GT, you could run the larger profile on the rear, which is exactly what I do.
  7. I'd agree, with the "premium" pack..£2K. The replica GT skirts may make it harder to sell though, as the "average joe" won't like them.
  8. Having Tech5's powder coated will reduce their desirability/value..why don't you have them properly referbed?.
  9. I would have thought it would be higher rpm per mph, Neil, and higher fuel consumption as a result.
  10. Yep, the eBay link above shows the correct Nuts.
  11. As I have a 140, I don't have TRC and VSC though, and that could be a problem with different tyre sizes on a face lift TS or GT. For the record, I have 215/40 front, 215/45 rear. The on-line tyre size is incorrect, 205/45 was the size fitted to all Gen 7's with 17" Rims.
  12. Happy Anniversary Kev 16v!

  13. Hmmm..Look what happened in 1996! http://www.urbandict...rdressers%20car
  14. Not a silly question at all, the 40 series should indeed be fitted on the front..BUT, the load rating on the tyres should be at least 88W.
  15. As Damian says, 195 will fit on a 7J rim, but offer no protection from kerbs. 205 or 215 are a better fit for your width rim.
  16. Tyre size in the handbook, and rim width is usually stamped on the inside of the rim..e.g. 6.5J.
  17. What's the OE tyre size for your car and what width are your rims, Shaun?
  18. Bryan might be able to collect them and bring them to Japs North (but he might expect you to bend over)
  19. I have both those sizes on my 140.
  20. Nothing exciting Izzy, I'd bought a new Toyosport exhaust for the TF, and wanted the welds on the hangers strengthening (known weak point), told me to come back for it in an hour and charged me £20. I know a few others who've used them, and all are happy.
  21. I used these people a few weeks ago, spoke to guy called Steve who was very helpful. They're just off the A38 between J28 M1 and Mansfield. http://www.stainless-exhaust.com/
  22. Are they the ultra rare Toyota option Wheels that need special nuts?.
  23. The benefit of having 215/45 is twofold, a slightly more compliant ride and a smaller gap between tyre and arch. I think you'd be OK to fit these, the difference in rolling radius is so small, as to not make any difference. In fact, i'm sure others on here with ESC have gone this route without a problem, If you were thinking 215/40 front, 215/45 rear (as I have on my 140), then there's a much bigger chance of David's comments being valid. As to Nags, only if money is extremely tight!.
  24. They're not decorative studs, the Tech5 has the facility to customise with "inserts"..here's a pic. showing the 10 bolts. http://www.lambodoor...es-p-17754.html
