  5. Hi mate.......if you need one of these, you can have my tanabe one (for cost of postage), if it fits.... I'll get the dimensions for you tomorrow if you want...
  6. On my 2nd set of NS2's (225/35/18) & have to admit, they're a geat budget tyre. Great in dry & wet & i've never had any stopping issues or losing grip on corners......Only weather they're crap for is snow, as they go a bit hard & grip is shocking.... Its the original NK's that the issue were with.....The NS2's were vastly improved I'd say buy em I'll definitely be buying another set when needed
  7. Yep......Pretty straight forward to change over though....I put the new leather on without any foam backing & they look/feel fine Peel of existing cover. Scrape off the foam backing (I used a bit of soapy water & a scouring pad) Stick new cover on with some leather glue (tube of Bostic leather glue was £1) Glued & tucked in Jobs a good un
  8. 6 years last month. Bought from my friends old company (was his company car from new in 2003 to 2006). Just gone passed 72k miles
  9. I have the same set up, MTec discs with red stuff pads & can confirm they work very well from cold. Just take braking easy for the first 100 miles at least (a bit more if you do a lot of motorway driving) & once bedded in you shouldn't have any issues. I wish I'd gone for this set up when I first changed my brakes as the EBC turbo grooved & green stuff pads IMHO....are the crappest combination. Damn annoying ticking discs!! Been very impressed with the MTecs so far

  11. It looks like cloudy spots of dried out water (trying to get a decent pic to post up), but I've never had any issues with condensation in them at all before. From what I can make out tho, it's definitely on the inside. Still haven't had the bottle to open them up tho.....got the led strips & rings that I bought still sat in the garage :/ Good idea with the silica gel think that would work if it was moisture in the case, but the fact it looks dried makes me think it won't have the desired effect Cheers mush
  12. Cheers dude Think I'll give it another year & see how it goes. Was close to SC'ing mine after seeing the outcome of Mr Baileys & especially after listening to him launch off from our local filling station....(yes, I man wee'd a little ) Ey up mate....you keeping well? Yeah I don't hate the car.....just lost motivation/interest I think :/ So guys.......what's the best thing to do with this clouding headlight case? I'm guessing I'll have to open them up to sort it properly?
  13. Cheers mate Have you seen the cheap bit of paper they're printed on now too?
  14. Cheers Mick The local Mr T weren't that bad before, so I'm guessing they have some new staff & bigger targets to hit these days :/
  15. Cheers Lex Sounds like a plan.....I would have asked normally, but just wanted to get out of there! You can see the £ signs rolling in their eyes when you drive in :/ Least I have a years grace now tho
  16. That's Mr T for ya Cheers mate Think I'll need to research on any other close by stations that come recommended lol cheers Tom :/ I haven't neglected her that much But I'm hoping that once I kick my ass into gear it'll all come good
  17. But..... Car passed MOT today with the following advisories.. 1) Nearside front position lamp discoloured 2) Offside front position lamp discoloured Look fine to me 3) Nearside rear seatbelt damaged but webbing not significantly weakened Think it's been stuck/twisted in the mechanism at some point 4) Nearside rear brake pipe slightly corroded 5) Offside rear brake pipe slightly corroded Not surprised after the guy spent 15-20 mins prodding at them with a screwdriver 6) Windscreen has damage to an area less than a 40mm circle Had this chip for 6 years now (it was previously filled) & for the past 2-3 years has been the only MOT advisory I've had (I think) 7) Nearside front anti-roll bar ball joint dust cover damaged, but preventing the ingress of dirt 8) Both front main beam lamps emitting blue light Again, have had these for the past 6 years & have never had any warning about them previously 9) Wipers smearing windscreen Could be due to the fact they practically emptied half my bottle of screen wash on to it Have MOT's really become this bad over the past year? Also, while trying to see what they were talking about with points 1&2, I spotted a bit of clouding on the top end of the drivers headlight case.....on the inside To sell or not to sell....that is the question 'Hi All' By the way
  18. I have the AVX810 & mainly use mpeg music vids, that way the kids can watch the vid & I can listed to the music.....everyone a winner
  19. Cheers mate......might try & brave it at some point
  20. No probs.......If I'm looking at the right receipt, the kit part number is 04948-20010 (for all 6 clips). Was £10.75 back in July 09
  21. You can get the kit from Mr T for a few £ There should be 3 on each side & how they fit
  22. Cheers Mick.....I did check the seals & pins & one on the drivers side was stuck. Took it out, gave it a clean up & re-greased it. Both pins on the passenger side were fine. I'd like to give the calipers a full refurb, but I'm not comfortable going that far to be honest.....Very nervous about messing with the brake fluid & pistons
