shelby-65 Posted July 4 Report Share Posted July 4 (edited) Are you able to replace the very top part of the strut which sits firmly into the ball joint? While removing this off the car, the nut had rounded which meant it had to be cut off using an angle grinder by my mechanic. There wasn't room to simply cut the nut/ball joint with the strut still in place. The fixings will obviously be replaced with new parts but am hoping to save my original struts to maintain the originality of the car. Thanks.
