matt1280
I bought a stainless catback off a breaker on eBay, obviously the last owner of the car didnt care! It's only the tips that need cleaning. I've wire brushed a lot off with the drill and wet sanded but there's some very annoying bits that won't shift. Anyone got any tips? Or products they no of? I've ordered a metal polishing kit so that's what I'm trying next. Any help appreciated :-)

James7
It it's really bad, brush over it with some fine wet and dry, or wire wool before using metal polish
Monkey Boy 1
If it is a proper stainless system then as said above, some 2000 drit wet & dry with some Autosol and an aweful lot of elbow grease. The more care you take the shinier you can get it.
matt1280
Cheers fellas I'll just keep going then lol I'll have another blast with the wire brush on the drill and keep using the metal polish, It's starting to look a lot better but there's just still the odd spot of brown crap that needs to come off
James7
Sounds like the best thing for that will be some wet and dry.
