trophytr5
I had a buckled wheel (brick on road). Straightened by Peterborough Trim Repairs. Same day - £45 It was worse on the inside than the outside (hardly noticeable there), so they left the outside alone to save damaging the paint. Damnation
It could have been worse... You could have been on the vehicle in your picture!
trophytr5
The bike wheels don't buckle like the Fonduemetal ones on the G7 GT. Even with inadvertent trip off-road over a drainage gully. Bent the seat base though!!

Monkey Boy 1
When we are talking bikes, Japanese metal is made from Shitanium or Crapalunium, where as some of the more exotic German stuff is made from Unobtanium.
Damnation
Good ol 'British Iron, Can't beat it Is that assembled in Britain outsourced and made from China I had the same problem with my standard Gen alloys. Buckling wasn't too bad and you could only notice when you ran your hand over the alloy...$h!tty brittish roads. Serratia
I believe the "Fondumetal" alloys as fitted to most gen 7s are actually Italian, but the argument still stands as they are soft as shit
4jw
I would a argue that they are alright. Mine were stock from 0-111,000 and bar sidewall scrapping, they are remarkably straight. There is, I admit, 1 dent per rim which preventsme saying that are 100% straight but I never noticed it. I was also being meticulous as I would hate for the buyer to be kept in the dark. Btw my GT stock rims are still for sale! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk I'll add that these dents are tiny and I had to rotate the wheel a few times on the balancing machine to find them Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
