dublet
Metal caps are a bad idea as they will oxidise and you will have to replace the valve.
Ownleemee
Metal caps are a bad idea as they will oxidise and you will have to replace the valve. Thats a good point, I have jut had to replace 2 valves on my wheels today as the alloy valve caps had seized on. I intend using Copperslip on any exposed threads. daytona
Looks sweet, but I would just lose the key and look a right 'nob crying in the gutter with a flat. Brings back horror memories of being stuck in the peeing rain on the hard shoulder of the M4 with a flat on an audi and bleeding knuckles from trying to fit the spare which I discovered was from another audi but one with fractionally different stud spacing. Unhappy bunny! £100 quid 20 years ago hurt!
Cleario
There crap! I had them on my old wheels as a good idea but they kept leaking, after many random flat tyres I went for short quad bike chrome valves. I also tried the richbrook one and had te same problem They look nice fitted though
Ownleemee
Thanks Cleario, nice honest opinion, it's what I need to know before making a mistake someone else has already made !
