digs
Hi My exhaust manifold is blowing, at the bottom on the drivers side, near the awkward to get to bolt Question is, if I have torqued these up to 37lbs (as per manual), and it's still blowing, likely to be a crap gasket? It's one of those ebay composites, do have the original metal one kicking about. Trouble is I am lazy, as changing the gasket means taking off the turbo and really don't want to due to the fact it's all nicely together, torqued and not leaking!! Would going another quarter turn etc all round until leak goes be ok, or too torqued and damaging? PS...I know the real answer is don't be lazy!
