paulgtt Posted September 9, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2012 Il leave you guys in suspense no longer.... .....actually a little longer, after deciding to keep my GT4, I was looking for a few parts as you do and came across this car so me being me had to have it! So yes whats better than a GT4? 2 GT4's It does need some work doing which il list after the pics: It was absolutely filthy outside and a bit grubby inside, so after 4 hours it went from this, To this, Clean! Overall its not bad, there is no rust at all on it. Main thing is to find the cause of the blue smoke coming out of the exhaust, guy I bought it off thinks the seals are going in the turbo but said it drives and boosts fine, im yet to have the intake off to inspect it. Bonnet, bumper and wings have been reprayed from red and its a crap job, o/s wing is dented but he gave me a brand new ready painted wing to replace it with. Its got a few nice goodies on it along with a box of spare parts, brand new fmic and a set of original alloys with virtually new winter tyres on. And its still got the flare These mats were in it to, they are proper thick shagpile things, genuine Toyota and tailored to the Celica, I haven't seen them before: Il be getting this one up and running properely then il decided what to do with it from there. I considered it as a bit of investment....Milage is low to if I remember and what ever you paid for it it is a steal. Well iv had the intake off this afternoon and the turbo seems pretty clean, a little oil but nothing out of the ordinary, no shaft play either which is good.
