mig2709
Most aftermarket wheels have a 60degree tapered seat for the nuts so those SHOULD be fine for you. Thanks mate

Sawyer
I really like them Liam. That would look good on certain colours. I think you can get away with it with dark green car.
LiamGTR
Thanks Sawyer, also i'm thinking with the wheels being white the nuts won't stand out as much, i'm hoping so! I put a cheeky offer in of £30... got denied straight away lol And now he's just denied £35 the sneaky bugger Edited April 29, 2012 by LiamGTR
shaungt4
I think the second 1's to liam . Are any of them the type you put the socket inside the nut to remove or put on ? Saves worrying if the wheels are gona get damaged by the wheel brace
LiamGTR
Yea all 3 have the socket on the inside I think. I would go for the 2nd ones but the 3rd ones come with all the keys and even a set of locking wheel nuts aswell
rpsmith79
They are all external drive nuts those Liam, so you have to be careful doing the up as the coating will more than likely chip/scrape/wear away the more you do/undo the nuts
LiamGTR
Damn, I presumed the big hole on the end was the internal... Oh how we laughed
rpsmith79
No, they are just open ended, internal drive ones won't have a hexagon sized outer, search for tuner nuts, or spline drive
LiamGTR
Got'cha! Will do, thanks So now i've gotta pay £100!? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MUTEKI-M12-x-1-5-NEON-NEO-CHROME-TUNER-WHEEL-NUTS-PACK-20-KEY-Z1465-/230744018135?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item35b96a4cd7#ht_1296wt_1037
rpsmith79
Nope, they are still external drive nuts Wrong size and colour, but these are internal drive nuts http://www.ebay.co.u...=item35b85978f9 or how about green http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c228d8ed3

Sawyer
You could wrap a bit of material (I used a microfibre cloth) and if you take your time, won't damage the coating/paint too much. Edited April 30, 2012 by Sawyer
LiamGTR
I just ordered these, steel, cheap and cheerful. http://www.ebay.co.u...8#ht_954wt_1270 You could wrap a bit of material (I used a microfibre cloth) and if you take your time, won't damage the coating/paint too much. I've already got black ones on, but thanks

keef-b
i got a set of red steel nuts from ebay, looked great but the red coating on the inside of the internal drive but cracked and the nuts corroded/rusted - this was not an obvious problem until i tried to fit the spline drive key in. Yup you got it, damn thing wouldn't fit easily and had to chap it in then wiggle it around, just glad it was on my drive during the day in good weather and not in the dark in the pissing rain with a flat tyre needing changed or i'd have probably done a Basil Faulty and kicked the sh*t outa the car! Wish i'd kept the tuner nuts i'd got from Driftworks - just plain chromed steel but so much better quality
