i gonna wait till summer, i changed the springs on my car on my own so doing oil change should not be as hard. and i did get the set of axle stands which i havent even used yet so need to put them to use. but it is good working on the car when the weather is nice.

i got assraped by the toyota dealer on my service, wont be going back there again, shame really since it had full dealer history so i thought best to maintain it incase i decide to sell, but after having the car now i love it too much and would never sell it. so will do all the servicing myself from now on. oilchange scares me the most since im gonna be directly under the car and if it flop onto to me then it would hurt a lot.

the bush with a dot punched into it, is that the one that goes closer to the bulkhead? or is it for the one under the throttlebody closer to the front of the car?

i will make sure i wear my gloves when doing the job. did ya notice any difference in gears when ya did this?

when I took my rear suspension out, im sure there was a captive nut involved somewhere. also to get the bolt out, hit it with a hammer from the other side, it slides out easy, may need a breaker bar to reduce the pressure on it.

red 2 years pink 5 years. manual and lotus forums say as long as the coolant doesn't contain silicates and is of OAT type then it will be safe to use.

also I think the pink they sell now is called super long life and good for 5 years. may order of the net or try a different dealer.

OK went to Toyota dealer yesterday asked for info and prices on coolant. They said £36 for 5l pre mixed and they said I can use either pink or red. Thought that to be odd and I'd double check on here which coolant should it be pink or red?

Iv used toad ai606 on my fiesta for 13 years and had no problem. My accountant has the same on his s class merc and no issues. Reliable in my experience. I'd go toad again if I needed an alarm / immobiliser

i didnt know the cooling system fan be fully replaced in less than 5 litres. my fiesta takes around 9.
