  1. No mention of service history so be lucky to get 1600?
  2. Tested this a few times 40 quids of regular stuff gives more miles than 40 Quid's of vpower. Simple reason is you get more petrol for the 40 Quid's of regular stuff
  3. the undertray clips i got were 7mm ones i believe. i used these ones which are to fit a 7mm dia hole, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-WHEEL-ARCH-INNER-LINING-SPLASHGUARD-ENGINE-UNDER-TRAY-TRIM-CLIPS-COVER-/190818319990?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&fits=Car+Make%3AToyota&hash=item2c6da87e76 i did order some 8mm ones but they too big to fit.
  4. Had this on an escort once the starter had seized could even crank engine by hand. Remove your starter motor and try turning the crank
  5. hmm how much would it cost to make an exact replica of the stock exhaust system for a 190 out of stainless steel so that it looks the same and sounds the same as the original?
  6. Mine will soon be coming to 2 years ownership and in that time iv put less than 6k on it. Doesn't make me want to sell it.
  7. My guess is there won't be more than 1200
  8. someone is doing a 2zz into an aygo. you could give it a try too with he beams.
  9. whats the difference in the drive/handling going from 215/45/r17 to 195/55/r15 ?
  10. Are you the guy who once posted a PIC of the gen 7 bushes showing around 12-14 bushes for everything inc arb bushes etc. I can't find the thread now search not being accurate enough. Also if using polybush for front and rear suspension arms does there need to be any specific toe setting or just run standard?
  11. cheaper from eurocarparts by far for the whole wishbone.
  12. i thought someone already did this service, was it the guy who does the engine mounts on here? i thought that was you or is it mixer72 or something, i get confused think you both got pics of red celicas as avatars. i thought one of you guys does a swap takes the old wishbone/trailing arm and swaps it for the polybushed one? im sure this has been mentioned somewhere.
  13. how hard to fit the bushes? do ya need to use a press?
  14. when my cousin had a crash ambulance people came and had to use the vacuum to suck up all the tiny bits of glass they were all over him. now for an adult its not too bad to clear glass from the eyes but with kids its gonna be a whole different story. if the cost is £150 to get the rear window, the 2 quarters and the front sides done then to me its money well spent especially since I plan on keeping the car for the rest of its life. just need to find someone who does it in Coventry and does a quality job.
  15. Yes a cousin of mine was in a crash and had loads of tiny glass fly around into his hair etc. Ambulance had to use a vacuum cleaner to get most of it out. Iv had one family member in a crash who had tinted windows and they got no glass on them. So the stuff does work. Will check out some places. Can order the film from eBay etc but if its like putting screen protectors on a phone it's gonna get bubbly
  16. Is the film applied from the outside or inside?
  17. anyone know of any places in the midlands that do this sort of stuff? i can get it from amazon and ebay and do it DIY but was wondering if there are any companies out there that specialise in it. its the film that prevents the glass from flying all over the place in the case of an accident. now that i got the baby in the car im looking at more safty features.
  18. 34 and tech support. Have a mk3 1995 fiesta is, brill car which I rev up to its limited around 6900rpm. Iv always loved high rpm natural aspirated engines. I never went out actively looking for a new car but had my eyes on civic type R's. My brother is a car trader and one day he brought home the celica and made a big fuss over it since it was a 190 and 8 years ago he had a 140 which was OK but it was nothing special to me since Hondas were the rage back then. So I took the 190 for a spin and whoa it blew me away, the handling was amazing from the get go and the low seating position was great but when I got it onto the dual carriage way and I floored it in 2nd gear it hit 6200rpm and oh my got it got a kick up the ass all the way to the limiter. Its nothing like honda VTEC which is a flat torque curve, the 2zz actually steps up and has a drastic cam change over feel. The car sold itself to me in that instance. I weighed up the options an integra would be more expensive to buy and the celica was fully loaded. The chain driven engine ment no cambelt change costs so running costs were low, leathers and full main dealer service history were the icing on the cake. With the future of cars being small capacity turbo charged motors and electric engines I saw this as an opportunity to have a high revving engine now because they won't make them like this any more. And I prefer front wheel drive too. I don't use lift much since I do mostly short journeys but on the rare occasion I do it really does feel like I'm rewarded for revving it high. Great value for money car. And now with the baby I'm still happy since the britax evolva 123 seat fits brill
  19. Antilochi got a link for filter mesh?
