  1. Took her to the garage and told her not to fail her MOT. Like the little obedient Japanese Mistress that she is, she fully obliged to her masters wishes
  2. Dry cleaned the Wilfords. Got to love those tooth brushes with the tongue cleaning ridges on them. They do a grand job removing the crud off the Wilo pistons. Even that quick dry dirty clean up of them has improved the bite If it ever stops chuffing raining for more than 2 hours, I will give them a proper clean.
  3. nothing to major. Rear caliper isn't working correctly, got a lovely line right round the disk. Front Wilwoods probably need a stripping and cleaning as the disks have a black smut thats comes off when you rub your fingers on the disk There's a noise, intermittent, like a wheel bearing gone, but noise disappears when you a. brake or b. go faster. hopefully that's the caliper issue causing that. A/C is being re-gassed Exhaust blowing and hopefully just needs a bit of welding on it
  4. Renewed and paid up for another year. Exactly the same price as previous 12 months.

Considering the amount of times I've PM'd Neil the last 12 months with mod changes, with no admin fees, I'd have been nuts to go elsewhere.

    Thanks for your efforts Neil.

waiting or mine now , should get mine through next week as ive been with greenlight for 4 years now and hope to renew this year .

  5. I bought my SRI purely for noise, knew there'd be a slight drop in performance but the noise balanced that see-saw out for me. Have I noticed a difference? Well i've now changed the mods on my insurance to say the SRI's gone and I'm back to the OEM box with the butterfly removed and a K&N panel filter. I just found that set up was best of both worlds. I also tried putting the butterfly back, but I found that not as responsive and I missed the noise. I'm a 48 year old kid . I also found lift to be slightly better with the butterfly removed too
  6. Removed the SRI and decided to give the de-butterfly stock airbox a go for a few days, just because I've never done it more than anything.
  7. Having had a SRI setup for a few years, thought I'd see about looking into reducing the heat soak and did this It's the pipe from the original airbox, with a joiner extn that came with the SRI kit. Just sits a few inches above the plastic under tray. Now whether it's even worthwhile or not is open to suggestion, but I thought I'd just give it a go. edit. Thinking about it, I reckon the bottom of the pipe will need an angle so it's pointing towards the front of the car. I have a spare SRI tube that I can cut to size for the very job.
  8. Been using Chipex again, but it's only delaying the inevitable.....
  9. new boots fitted all round - Uniroyal Rainsport 3. and finally got my TRD spoiler fitted
  10. Removed the dead bird that was wedged within the front grill. So much more responsive now I've removed the dead weight..... [emoji4]
  11. Crammed some welding mat into the manifold heatsheild. No more rattle.
  12. MOT pass and no advisories, which considering I didn't do any work on last years advisories, shows how open to interpretation they are I guess. That said, the last years MOT place said the replaced all the pads on the front on last years test, which considering one of the pads was down to metal last week after only 6k, shows their level of competency! Certainly won't be using them again.
  13. Had my Wilwood Dynalites big brake kit fitted, omg what a difference!! Bye bye spongy feeling. Had it Pre-mot checked whilst it was in the garage & found she needed a new track rod end and some sill welding. Job done. MOT next up.
  14. Popped the coolant expansion tank gromet out of the radiator bracket. Tried putting it back in and it fought and beat me lol
