  1. left and right wing . collected by chinny in birmingham and then by me in scunthorpe.
  2. must be a big bloody garden, i dont know anyone with a bus stop on their driveway.
  3. i didnt get mine perfectly sanded, the raised part, so built up the level with paint, few coats of lacquer and few coats of paint built up the level, std alloy silver is what i used, doesnt have to be perfect match to the wheel as original ones were a metallic silver anyway.
  4. looking at pics of your car, looks like u have already refurbed your t sport caps, they will fit in the tech 5s,
  5. fir first, sanded and smoothed the original caps, primed, sprayed with silver paint, added decals from mook , then lacquered to seal. the centre caps above were from a pre face so had the raised T, so added a few layers of paint to even out the caps.
  6. gt centre caps are same as t sport centre caps, size wise. i have done 2 sets (see my mod thread). if u have a facelift model the t sport centre caps should be smooth, the pre face ones have the T on the t sport logo raised.
  7. im going over to birmingham sat, so mite take a little detour and have a look.
  8. Check auto trader. Some cheap ones on there
  9. are those on this forum, the sr i was looking at is on autotrader at £695. so oil burners like the pre face 140 then?

  13. YEP. i had problems with front drop links had to grind em off. rears couldnt split springs from the shocks with hand tools and had to book into a garage to do rear paid the guy who helped me then paid garage to do rear. i would consider going to garage unless someone can do it for free. you may need some/all of the following tools. trolley jack, axle stands, grinder, socket set + extension bar, allen key set, spring compressors, possibly air compressor and air gun to split springs from shocks. a guy in blackburn (garage) MARTINKING6 was in corp section made me an offer to to it, £25 p/h and said approx 2 hrs.
  14. i used my original transponder, the key had broken from the plastic. ended up paying an auto key cutter £20 for a new key and cutting.
  15. i bought this key and it didnt work, 2 key cutters both told me the blade was slightly different size to the original. got it cut anyway and it only worked on the glove box.
  16. so final outcome, the door is too badly damaged to be worth repairing. with help from tony ts, paisley refunded the courier cost of £25.00 and tony ts has kindly absorbed some of my loss. so word of warning for anyone planning to ship panels, YOU ARE NOT INSURED. i read their terms as "insurance cover for total loss" as unusable ie like when a car is written off it is classed as total loss. their version of total loss is if they actually lose the item. so will try and sell some of the internals of the door to recover some cash. thunder grey passenger side door handle electric window motor and window speaker all wiring looms
  17. unfortunatelty, door arrived damaged so looked like its not gonna happen now.
  18. yeah cheers steve, managed to discuss it with him last nite and he has mailed them, they will not deal with me. so tony is trying to sort it.
  19. i rang em and they told me that tony has to contact them with pics so, looks like their blowing smoke up my ass. fucking twats, 11 days late and it fooked.
  20. does anyone know tony ts, bought a door from him and paisley freight need him to make a claim as the person who booked the job. door arrived damaged so need to know if he is still around or on holiday.
  21. anyone swapped a door, what did u need to swap over (other than lock)
