  2. Started modding my Celica with 144k on it, and going strong. Had a far few Vauxhall's their weakotec engine is DEAD! at 100k. Jap's built a proper engine. THE END! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Oh and Astras look Shit !
  3. I'd be up for a day a RR, but not as soon as 19th as only picking my faff up tomorrow. Think my bank balance will have taken a battering by mid may
  4. Just might have a trick up my sleve, Supercharger you say! Bring it on
  5. Jamie that lambo orange will look the dogs bollocks mate. Will enjoy seeing it in my rear view mirror down the strip
  6. I'm sorry for your loss Would be heart broken to see mine split, but atleast you'll get to see it live on in a truely one of a kind Gen 6 ....................... Driven by a MAD! scots man
  7. Think peeps at the golf club might get a bit funny if we start pulling your shocks off in the car park
  8. How much for a clutch/service, full tank of fuel
  9. A little bit mad, but in a very good way
  10. Think your right on thr price side. Not so sure about this one looks a little skinny on the front from certain angles
  11. Like busses, never seen one then 2 come along http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Celica-Convertible-based-Aston-style-kit-car-/261004601460?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cc5162874
  12. I'm not to far from you Bn16, I got spring compressers and i'm pretty sure all other tools needed. Done springs and brakes on lots of cars but never a Gen 7 I'll be at the Brighton meet next weekend so talk to you then.
  13. from what i heard, fuel costs are pretty much the same. The off putter of 4 ownership is what if it goes wrong Superstut upto £1000 Turbo keep £500 on standby Head another £500 on standby Rear diff, clutch gearbox, it all starts to get a little scary! Don't get me wrong, i'd love to own one as they are monsters! But with an appitite for eating your bank balance!
  14. as above, without mesh it looks un-finished
  15. Was gonna suggest this car, what a lovely example. What's wrong with black When i was looking for a Celica i drove a 2001 190vvtli Gen 7 first as i love the look, but when i drove my Gen 6 i fell for it. Better build and more of a smile to drive. In my opinion
  16. OMG! Glad your ok mate, that's the important thing. Sad to see your car all mangled, But that can be replaced Especially now you got all the you bits off and returned to stock. Maybe now a w plate 6 could be on the cards.
  17. Problem solved, found a guy on ebay had 3 identical wheels so bought the 2 best ones for £44 delivered http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150784576815?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 How's that for lucky, now i got 5 good rims and 1 dented
  18. I just played about with different pressures untill i found what felt good
  19. tyre pressures should ideally be changed dependant on the weight you have in the vehicle. If you really want to be that precise? I have 215/35/17 and run 32 in the front and 34 in the rear. Anything from around 28-38 psi should be fine. Have a play and see how you prefer it.
  20. I'm 100% sure it can be repaired. With steel rims in the past i have beaten them back into shape with a hammer. Just concerned with the alloy as to risk of tearing, then needing to get it welded.
