  1. The RAC one told me everything, owners, if it was a write off or not, colour changes, stolen reports, outstanding finance, number plate changes, absolutely everything.
  2. I know I should do a proper one, But i always just do a mytextcheck "just text the reg to 83600" If the car looks a bit dodgy then I will pay to do a proper one, I used RAC for the last proper one.
  3. You cant go wrong with a Vibe CBR 10" Been using mine for 3 years and its fantastic
  4. the other week on the way to bangor a gt86 came flying up my rear, I turned off the main road and he followed, we had a drive together down a country road and then we waved off. I always get looks from other celica drivers, when I do wave they look away scared lol.
  5. didnt work with my reg. But i used my dads avensis reg and it worked fine, told me everything about the car, the MOTs, service work etc.
  6. Yup both Adrian Flux and Green Light will mirror your NCD So you can use it on both policies essentially.
  7. I agree with you. I love the fact mines white, looks great. I hate how slow it is XD
  8. Haha good luck! If its too loud / raspy just get a new resonator made up and put it
  9. Don't get a straight through pipe, it will be well too loud and will be very raspy (bee in a tin can) yuk... Might also lose power due to lack of back pressure. I know this from experience back when I have a hyundai coupe i got a straight through system made up, was too raspy, unbearably loud and lost power. I would get another resonator welded in the replace the broken one.
  10. Haha yeah it was a rough and long day. Karting should be fun
  11. Yeah I was thanks arizona, i hope so too. Gave the car a quick inspection, all seems to be in order. It looks like its been off roading though, which is has actually going through them lanes and submerged / muddy roads. Wash tomorrow!
  12. O.M.G!! What a night.... I only just got back. Left Bangor at 6pm - got stuck on the a55 for 3 hours - had to turn off back for Bangor - went for food as I was starving - tried the A55 again, still shut - went on the A5, jam packed and stand still - planned new route myself using a map - found the road was FULLY underwater, cars were going through but coming out with water pouring out of their doors (wasn't happening for me) - found a single track country lane to go around that, got a mile in, a van had broken down!!! - had to reverse a mile in the dark with black out windows (I think i may of scapped a few bushes...), all i could do was listen to instructions from my mate who got out and directed, he ended up ruining his shoes - decided to go back on the A5, still standstill so had a game of music roulette - After another hour of going nowhere a crowd had gathered talking to the police car ahead of me - We all ended up following the police car as she escorted us with her blues and twos! - Finally home..... Iv gone through MASSIVE bits of water, hit pot holes, ran over ROCKS, scapped the side of my car on things, burnt the clutch, oh yeah and i did reverse when i saw the massive water without taking the handbrake off..... Got home, and she still looks perfect, but only daylight will tell :S
  13. Ahh that's good to know, it is brand new so I hope its ok
  14. Hi Martin, Yeah it was start stop on a hill for 3 hours. Had to constantly slip the clutch. It feels ok just started to smell real bad.
  15. 3 minutes? Hahahaha what a joke. Just read on the BBC news page that some guy left Llandudno at 1 and has been stuck for over 7 hours. I left my house at 11. If it had started slightly earlier I would have not gone in. I need to test the clutch to make sure its ok but no road to do it.
  16. And I live in penmaenmawr. Stupid weather! On the plus side I just had the nicest biggest Mexican burger from spoons. Decided to turn around and get tea before I collapsed lol. Keeping an eye on traffic report to tell me I can go home.
  17. I spent 3 hours between junction 10 and 11 both Bangor junctions, had to turn off at 11 and then there was a massive queue for the a5 diversion that pops you up just past conwy tunnel which is no good as I live on the other side of that tunnel and its shut...
  18. So after spending 3 hours stuck on the a55 I'm still at Bangor trying to get home at the moment. Been stuck doing start stop on hills for 3 hours. My brand new clutch I got 2 weeks ago started to smell. Have I killed it? And how do I get home!?
  19. Springs is not a hard job at all. I plan to do basslinetoads springs with him soon. Just need to get youself a set of spring compressors for about £15 from ebay. If you want to get it done by a garage. I highly recommend martinking, i literally JUST got back from having a clutch replaced from them. Brilliant job http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/145215-big-thanks/
  20. Thanks for all your help Scott It's amazing what this club can do Scotts Celica was looking tidy if I may say, looking forward to see what it will look like when you've finished with it! On the drive back I saw a silver celica and flashed at it like I usually do when I see a celica and he actually waved back Most people just give me the "your crazy" look lol. Anyones? Got back after a long traffic jam on the way from the office to the a55 slip road, no idea why they got rid of the round about for traffic lights! Was going to do some work but it was 4pm when I got back, I had a lecture at 9am, had done a 150 mile round trip and an interview so I decided to test out my new torque wrench and installed some spark plugs instead hehe.
  21. My old honda civic sometimes doesnt start when its been raining heavily overnight, i always just spray wd40 on the leads, works every time :/ Got this from the wd40 website. "Displaces moisture from spark plug wires". My dad drives the civic now and he keeps a can of 40 in the glove box and uses it every couple of weeks. He really should just buy some new leads....
  22. If adjusted correctly HIDs stand for High Intensity Discharge (Lamp) If not then they stand for Hi Im a Dickhead lol (Mighty Car Mods)
  23. Happy Anniversary supersai101!

  24. I would use some touch up paint first, its like £6-7 a pot. It will look better than just white dots. You might find your happy with it touched up. If not youve only lost £6-7 and you can look into other methods.
