  1. I have multi fits, nothing wrong with them
  2. I'm 23 and I am an IT Trainer, I have had 4 Celicas (5 if you include one I bought up to try fix). Have been driving Hyundai Coupes before then, bought my first Celica as have always loved the look of them and it was the fastest thing I could insure at the time, so as soon as I could, I did My ST205 was by far the most troublesome Celica I owned but also the best due to the brute power The funny thing is if you saw me in the street you probably would never think I was a massive petrol head and work on cars constantly on my drive. I have no idea where my love for cars came from, my dad couldn't care less about cars and most of my friends either don't drive or don't own a car. I have to admit the Celica has served me well but I am looking for something faster now. Oh and I live in the land of lift
  3. Depends if its a maintenance free battery or not, you may be able to boost its life by adding a mix of epsom salt and de-ionised water.
  4. I had this exact same problem the other day, my car was missing a splash shield so water got onto the filter and it rusted on. I gave it a blast of plus gas, gave it a few taps with a hammer, stabbed a screwdriver through it and it broke loose eventually after a few sharp whacks. Replacement splash cover fitted, hopefully won't have the same problem next time.
  5. I remember seeing a green gen 6 identical to this for sale in Llandudno not so long ago, it might even be the same car? It went for £300 and it was relisted a few times too before it finally did go.
  6. Plus gas works a treat, spray it on the night before and if that doesn't work, heat it up.
  7. Like I said via PM, your more than welcome to pop around to do them. Iv recently bought some impacts too which will make the job much easier too
  8. I went from a gen 7 to a gt4. I loved it at first, and put up with the cost but its seriously annoying me now. I average 19 mpg and with it being 20 years old this year, the body work on mine really is starting to show its age with paint flaking on the front bumper and spoiler and I had to have the roof resprayed as that was just terrible. You could find a very very good well looked after GT4, but an old car with high miles is just that, even if loads of components have been replaced, something else will eventually fail. My GF has recently bought a 190 gen 7 and I can honestly say now that im use to the GT4 speed, the gen 7 although slower is just as fun as you can use most of the power most of the time while still getting decent mpg. I will be going back to a gen 7 in the very near future. The GT4 is a great car and if I had the money to throw at it, I would make mine perfect and use it as a daily driver no problem. But its all down to cost and if your willing to faff around with it
  9. Personally I don't like EP3s or FN2s. I don't really like any 'performance' version standard cars as there are plenty of the standard versions about. There are plenty of normal civics about but when you see a celica, people auto think its a sporty car. I have never been in an EP3 but I do not like the interior at all, the gear stick position puts me off straight away. Iv been in an FN2 and it feels like a big car with a small engine imo (i know this is what Jeremy Clarkson said), to me the 190 celica feels much quicker and handles better than the FN2.
  10. It was for sale when I was looking for my Celica 190 back in 2011!
  11. Happy Anniversary supersai101!

  12. im not a mechanic so dont quote me on this, but i was told once never to use oil addictives. All they do is thicken the oil, so all this stop leak stop smoke stuff does is just thicken the oil so it doesnt go through the bad seals in the engine. If you keep using it in the same oil then the oil just gets thicker and thicker... You can imagine what damage this could do. Personally I would drop the oil completely for 5w40 oil.
  13. Personally im not a fan of carbon. And matt costs quite a bit extra and im not overly fussed on it so no point for me. I have no idea where the extra 'd' came from lol, when your typing fast it just seems right to type two d's in saddle. lol I think its gonna be blue Just need to save up the money now having just booked a holiday Edit: I mean sadle... lol
  14. Saddlebag!!! THATS THE COLOUR I WANT! *saves image to phone* I think my heart is set now
  15. thats not a bad colour actually..
  16. not really a fan of green unfortunately or carbon. I do like the Focus orange but i think thats already been done.
  17. Yeah white gt4s are common which is why I'm looking into other colours really. I think blue will suit it tbh. I'm really liking the jag xkr-s blue. Will be unique that's for sure!
  18. Yeah thats the grey im talking about really on the GTR, but some colours only look good on some cars... :/
  19. My GT4 could do with having a couple of panels resprayed due to the usual paint fade Been pricing it all up and in all fairness I could have the car fully wrapped for a few hundred more in any colour of my choice The sensible option would just be to spray the bits that need it, but I know for a fact the colour match will never be 100% as it's hard to match silver. The question is, what colour? I would LOVE it in white, and should have waited for a white one to be honest but after looking for 6 months for a GT4 my patience ran out... The problem is there are already white ones available to buy standard, if I was to pay £800 ish for a full wrap I would want it to be unique. Im also thinking about the Nissan GTR light grey type colour. Maybe even the new shape Audi S3 blue? So what do you all think? White, grey, blue?
  20. Not really a Celica, but my dad has owned his N reg Civic since new, still has it now, I was 5 when he bought it. I went everywhere in it, i learnt to drive in it, it was my first car, and despite being covered in rust, still going. Oh its only been serviced once by me in the lasy 7 years or so haha! Credit to japanese engineering!
  21. If your referring to the one with the Mcdonalds I go there quite a bit, I find it quite cheap haha.
  22. This ^^^ My Import runs on 95 fine but it feels a bit under powered. Imports are tuned to use higher octane fuel
