Hello hello, mate at work is thinking of getting a Celica soon :-D but we came across one that generally seems really good, only problem is is this "Fourth gear sometimes 'snags' on the change up from third. It doesn't happen all the time and always fully engages." Now what possibilities are there for causing this, the guy reckons it just needs an oil change, but I've been abit ... Meh, couldn't imagine it being that simple. Any ideas peoples? :-)

Ive got three, none of them lift my car high enough to take wheels off lol 2, 2.5 & 3ton unless Im doing it wrong, I slide it between the two wheels and there is a big circle metal thing to put the jack under

I generally do love my car, exhaust pipe is full of semen I used to hate the back of them, but it's just grown on me now and I think nothing of it

Tbh, I didn't know there was a wrong size to it, I really have no idea about tyres&wheels, but if there is a "wrong" size to it, then i'll get the right tyres for it

Thinking of getting 17 x 8.0" alloys, my curent ones are 17 x 7.5" with 215/45/r17 Could I take the tyres off and put them on the new wheels? -- All solved , all will be okay

I get it from work from 1 person, he has a 1.1 Fiesta ... with that terrible exhaust noise thing knobheads put on Always slags mine off, calls it shit, My radiator has a leak, so I told him "Yeah yeah that's typical Toyota crap that is, you think your cars the right bollocks but now it's falling to pieces blah blah blah hohoho" I just look at him and go "Yeeep " with a nod of the head and carry on as normal

Just turn round and say "Just coz you and mum are high mileage in your age, and can't perform at the high revs per minute you used too .. doesn't mean my car can't"

Look over to them, nod your head, rev your car ... let them shoot off and you just slowly take your time, whilst laughing lol or, it's better when they think you're going straight on, so you prepare yourself, then as they shoot off, you turn left/right instead

I got pulled over for doing 60 in a 40, then jumping a red light I was like 1) it's dark and you were right up my arse so I thought for once I'll speed up coz you looked like a van man in a rush, and 2, it's half 4 in the morning, its a right turn, I can see for miles if there is a car either side of the road coming from whatever direction, there was no cars, so its pointless to wait at a red light .... I said sorry, was in a rush for work, he let me off and just said make sure not to do it again

Surely if police have a look at his car and see it is scratched, and matches your paint or whever, they can get him done for leaving the scene or whatever without contact details? surely that counts as some type of criminal damage

The only buzz when the door is open is if you leave your lights on So yeah, we only get the door warning on the dash if it's open with lights off

I cant wait, it'll be the first time I've ever done any of this, I've done a few interior things, but nothing to do with "servicing" a car, exciting times for me
