  1. Yes he is! It is Dazz76 , and he has put a lot of work into the car. It is a CS, which you probably were aware of from the tailgate. He has a thread about the deep clean and then ceramic coating, so the car is gleaming. He brought the car to the club Prescott Hillclimb day and recently did the Gen 5 N Wales rally drive with us. Here's a pic of some of us on the beach
  2. We went to the Lombard Rally event held at Chepstow Racecourse today and met up with a member from GT4DC in his black RC. The organisers allowed us to park by the Grandstand instead of in the public car park - so I took the opportunity of displaying the club flag and put out some flyers. Sadly no Celicas taking part today.
  3. This is Shipwrecked's lovely rally car in the Paddock at Shelsley Walsh hillclimb today. Taking a breather in the shade in between runs!
  4. Hi and As you are a full club member, you can upload a photo of your Gen 7 to have as your avatar photo below your forum name. You can also start your own thread all about your car in the Gen 7 forum. There seems to be a huge variety of possibilities for spoilers. You will get some ideas by looking through the thread Gen 7 pics which is pinned at the top of Gen 7 forum - here's a link. There are 153 pages of photos to look through. Maybe start at the end and work backwards, so if you see something you like you can contact the member concerned and ask them what they've got and where it came from.
  5. LD50's Gen 5 CS and Dig's Gen 6 GT4 on the JDM Combe stand. Our club flags are definitely taller than anyone else's that I saw
  6. In Gen 5 forum, we have Gen 5 BGB manual topic posted by Angus in 2008 that has a number of links. Many of them do not work for me, but the final one does.
  7. We were back at Prescott for one of their evening meets Wheels at Prescott last week. It's a casual meet for any cars that want to turn up, opportunity to chat and have food if wanted. We were almost the last to leave, so managed to get a couple of photos in the Paddock of the cars on their own This next photo is on behalf of LD50 - same photo really from the other side
  8. Are you sure your Toyota decal is big enough?
  9. That chap from Sudsomatic deserves a medal for his dedication! The car has come up beautifully clean and looks amazing!
  10. Those are quite different - flattened surface to the spokes as opposed to a rounded top. When I googled them after first post, a set came up advertised as Gen 7 wheels https://picclick.co.uk/Toyota-Celica-Gen-7-Mk7-Alloy-Wheels-Set-323195921901.html That's if they are advertised correctly!
  11. You mean people like this one I took in 2017? My favourite photo from the Gen 5 Rally Drive this weekend. Not so many cars in this shot as several had to leave by late Sunday afternoon. More photos to go on the thread in Meetings Forum later. Off to visit Harlech Castle now.
  12. Photo taken over the weekend in that wonderful sunshine - reminds me of the Wordsworth poem (although mine are next to the postbox!) I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
  13. We had Bek here on Saturday for some mechanical help with the red CS and a nice visit from Askari with his Beams too. Photo of the four Gen 5's courtesy of Bek.
  14. He said he is currently in North Wales !! I don't think that's in Scotland last time I went . He's already finished the NC 500
  15. I've often thought about organising a club members driving event for it, but a convoy of any length could be quite tricky to say the least . I haven't yet done it myself, but a number of club members have done it in the past with a small group of friends.
  16. That is a fabulous document! It would appear that the driver is licenced to drive the car - rather than the car licenced to be on the road.
