I know what you mean! When I picked mine up after major refurb work a week ago, I couldn't stop smiling all the way home I hadn't driven it for three and a half years and had almost forgotten how much I loved driving it - but it was like slipping on comfy clothes, just so natural, an extension of one's self! Where are the Gen 1 - 4's ?? -
I thought it might be interesting to find out how long people have had their Celica? I'm guessing some of the guys with early Gens may have had theirs a while, but not necessarily. If you've had one, sold it, missed it and bought it back - I guess you could add the years together! Who's had theirs the longest? Who's only just bought theirs this weekend? Any quirky or poignant story attached to the car or purchase?

My locking wheel nuts etc arrived today. Bought from Driftworks.com, high strength steel internal drive slimline ones for Momo Arrows. If only I had a working car to put them on

Four new Toyo Proxes T1 S arrived this morning by Carrier for me to the tyre fitting place, from blackcircles.com. Took over my Momo rims bought from Paulus3476 (thank you!) and got them fitted. Just need to get some locking wheel nuts etc now. Won't be going on the car for a while yet.

I agree with ORC - still report it even if they don't come out or seem to do much. It may tie in with something else that went on that night. Was it a black car judging by your wing mirror? Heartbreaking for you.

We had it really bad here in the south-west when it rained Friday night - the two black cars were totally covered. Thick on the screens too. Every slight shower seems to bring down a bit more, so we're leaving the cars until it clears! -
Out of interest, was the breaker based in Wiltshire?
