  1. Either cable racked up too high as somebody thinks that's how to adjust if, the shoes and auxiliaries could be fit wrongly or the parts are wrong. End of the day the disc should slide on with ease when the adjuster is fully off, hammer job is telling you there is something amiss.
  2. Could be the rust lip that may have built up over time.
  3. Finally a task I admire, I might struggle but I will ask every oriental babe if she can help me out.
  4. Nobody would take the job on, incinerate is the only option.
  5. Never had a spirited drive through a hen coop?
  6. But that would be pointless without a tyre Kev. Yep a space saver would be fine as you mention GT4's came with them and I guess some imports.. Just trial fit to make sure it fits over the brakes and doesn't fowl anything before you rely on it.
  7. As a tempory measure keeping speeds to a moderate, say like 50-60 MPH all should be fine. Have you seen how small the space savers are?
  8. Did you fit new pads at the same time, or just fit the old ones?
  9. I caned the shit out of one of these when I was an apprentice, thought I was Tom Selleck for a mo, bro. lumbar adjustment was a hand pump attached to the side of the seat and the very first digital dash my sorry eyes had to feast sight upon. And I love 'em
  10. There isn't much room between the axel and the bumper to fit a universal box, if you look at the standard exhaust you will see that the original box actual is located after the fuel tank but in front of the back axel, then it kinda exits centrally, the 140 has a bent section to exit at the bumper cut out. The 190 has a small box before it exits the bumper cut out.
  11. You need ATF Dextron type II for a hydraulic rack like ours. You can get different types of PAS fluid for electric pumps and such.
  12. I was going to say the Team Dynamics, TRD rebranded them and sold them as their ownhttps://www.google.co.uk/search?q=celica+trd+wheels&client=safari&hl=en&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=ARrbUdeDCeeK0AXDo4FA&ved=0CCsQsAQ&biw=768&bih=928#biv=i%7C9%3Bd%7C34YcNupXTY9laM%3A But the spokes appear to curve a little.
  13. It's what I put in mine but my sidewalls are a soft construction so I put them up to 34 psi.
  14. Toyota will test all tyre size options until they find the best pressure for each, to give the best MPG, grip, even wear and emissions. Each size may even have a different recommended brand and model to each other. But given this, the recommendations may not suit your terrain, climate and driving styles. In Layman's terms, 32psi is a pretty good all round pressure for a Celica whatever the size, brand and driver.
  15. £80 indeed but each part is ordered separately so it all adds up, got my staff discount but could have done with the lube still. You also got the "D" bushes too. Old dear had a mare when they collapsed and had to drive home, so I had to get them on Saturday and fitted to keep her happy.
  16. Sold my Yaris TSport to my mum & dad so I could buy the Celica I have now. At the weekend I got a call about a horrendous knock and squeak from the drivers front and it turned out the bush cups had corroded through so I fit Toyota ones £80 retail but I got staff discount). Can I ask how much these were pal?
  17. It was Stella lager, but I will no doubt fill it with Cidre at some point ;-)
  18. Only Celica related due to my club name, and I had to fill it myself!
  19. I have a 140 with 215/45R17 and to be honest I haven't noticed an acceleration loss. Comfort is better and when driving with Sat Nav I noticed that the MPH is actually closer to each other.
  20. This maybe a real challenge, I live near Keighley and believe me that's a shit hole, but I ain't seen a local thug fire one of these beaut's for a while.
  21. These patches of colour replaced the touch up tins that Toyota used to put in every new car delivered. I will be honest, the colour match isn't spot on and I would guess water will eventually get beneath and maybe start to corrode. Not bad for a tempory fix though.
  22. I'll rent out my spare room so you can look out of the window at a chilli 7
