Hi everyone As some of you know i went down to Truro a couple of months back and came home with Frodo's vert, lovely car and i'm very pleased with it. Pics have been a long time coming but here's a few She came with original gen 6 wheels which were a bit scabby so that was first on the list to change So i bought some gen 7 wheels (thanks Minx's Celica)and then bought another gen 7 wheel for a spare plus some crystal side repeaters(thanks Maskerade), painted the calipers red and recieved my club tax disc holder which i put on along with my club stickers, saved for the occasion from last year Now she looks like this Yes the rear window problem not been looked at yet and i have a very long ariel which needs sorting, also want to get crystal front indicators next and on the lookout for a nice steering wheel as the one i have is a bit worn Very pleased to have bought one with a tonneuo cover as these seem to be rare as hens teeth, i shall be looking after that Had a bit of a spend up in Halfords when they were doing their offer so next time i have a weekend off is time for a good clean and polish Oh and i thought i'd park it up next to an ugly one And i also found she's pretty good for moving the odd thing Carefully though! Looking forward to the Ace Cafe Meet and a nice dry evening so the top can be down driving there

You ever tried rolling and smoking a roll up whilst driving a vert with the top down? I only did it once

I usually put £20 at a time in, but i remember the days when i used to put £2 in at a time for the trials bike and would get a good few journeys to work and back in the good ol' days Noticing people are def driving without too much right foot lately

Great, thanks for the tip. Giving the vert first wash n brush up over the weekend and putting on Minx's wheels which are winging their way to me

i use a lint free cotton cloth, just a dishcloth type but after soaping use a nailbrush or similar bristled brush while its soapy and go all over with circular motion bit at a time, cleaning off again with another cloth in clean water as i go, then a polish with silicone spray when dry (not silicon steering wheel though, did that once )

Lol, i remember taking the old sirocco storm for a blast after using that, left the village in a cloud of smoke

Hmm i dont think i have had the docs for the Mazda yet, must double check. Mid/end November i bought that. Definately use registered for sending them off in future. Going to court 18th Feb They didnt receive docs for one i sold last March, when they sent through letter saying new keeper had applied i supplied them the necessary details of name,address,date of sale and that i posted it the following day after sale. They still hitting me with a fine, so told them to take me to court

Hiya, dont have number to hand but if you look up Bridges at Pease Pottage tis off m23 just past crawley. As long as car drives in they were offering £100 a few weeks back, it may be slightly different for smaller car but worth a call, they'll tell you over the phone
