  5. T'was barely on my car for 5 minutes before I sold the car! Looks brand new still. Glad you like it buddy.
  6. Grids all the way. Jap metal needs 6-spokes, and those look chunkier and beafier than those on the Boost's. GTR looks alright, but would better suit a more angular car, not a curvy one like the Gen6...
  7. Jesus, according to howmanyleft.co.uk there are still over 19,500 gen7 140s registered! Compared to 1,869 190's and 729 GT's So 140s out-number 190s by around 7.5 cars to one?!
  8. Asda also now sell the 'Giant' microfibre drying towel. I last bought a waffle-weave drying towel from an online seller and thought it was good, but for £3.99 the Asda item was actually better to use and made the job quicker...
  9. There was a story about this problem floating around last year, everyone thought it was a bit of scaremongering but it was indeed a dodgey batch of pads. Is there a possibility that you have a set of those pads, when were they purchased?
  10. Like a Japanese E-Type. Only rarer. And not as pretty.
  11. I've owned cars that aren't as cool as those seats
  12. Noooooo 12p damnit! eBay seller is gonna be in trouble over this one!
  13. Had a toad ai606 on 3 previous cars and would have one on the gen7 if the standard alarm wasn't adequate. Safe'n'sound fitted mine for about £300 with closure add-ons and proximity sensors. Has all the options for remote start etc if you want to add them. As for your fears about a tracker watching your speed, don't you have a 140 anyway?
  14. J03 where did you get the gauges and sandwich plate from mate? I'd be keen to get some if it didn't work out too expensive, just to monitor oil pressure and temperature...
  15. It was based on the Yaris not the Corolla/Celica platform, so probably only has a weedy 1.0? Or 1.5 VVTi
  16. 'Kin 'Ell, can't help but think that you're always better off with some Carbon vinyl on non-weight-saving parts like that! Half the carbon has been cut out of it!
  17. This came yesterday - Unfortunately it needs some work and the V snapped off in the post, but nevermind. Where is my red acrylic paint....?
  18. Noooo! I even asked for opinions on where the thread could go! Plus its got back on topic again now anyway! I received something more in the post but can't be asked to post until tomorrow now...
  19. This is an idea I've stolen from another forum I used to use... Rules are- -If you've received something interesting for your Celica (be it big, or small) you post up an image. If it's obvious enough then there's no need for a description, or you could get people guessing...even just from the packaging if you so wish. -Post up what you paid for it. This could be a bargain or RRP if you bought new or from auction, it helps indicate to other users the sort of price of things they may also wish to buy... -Post up where you bought it from To summarise- Pic, Price, Where? I'll get the ball rolling (this just got delivered)... Car Audio Direct for £199...
  20. I had this exact problem on my Gen 7. There was a small clip about 1" x 1" which was missing from one end, turned out to be lost in the spare wheel well.
  21. Don't like those concepts. However I'm surprised that this never went into production, given the success of the previous-Gen Celica drop-top...
