  1. Can't believe there are many bikes that would pass that ,everyone I hear sounds loud as fuck, sports can or not. About time the police spent some time tugging East Europeans with no licences or insurance, instead of ticking over their time and paperwork quotas with patronisingly ambiguous "laws" that are more open to interpretation than anything else.
  2. Think the bronze Rota option is a huge winner IMO,never been a 3 spoke lover myself either, really never liked the look.HOWEVER i would keep the original faff 3 spokers,i reckon it wont be toooo long before they fetch good money as a lot will have been tracked or mullered in some way
  3. Looks like a possible top win,i want to see them on the car, then i may blatantly rip your idea off
  4. All for one etc, nice one Matt.
  5. Just over £460 delivered then..bargain
  6. I'm always banging on about this,if a car's advertised and need so "little work",why not f*****g do it then? Load of crap. Also, people who advertise cars that obviously want decent money, but havent washed or tidied it up for the pictures? If you cant even be bothered to do that to get yourself money, then you probably havent bothered to do anything to the car while you've owned it either.Pff.
  7. We wrapped the roof of my car the other week and ended up taking it off.Not very pliable, consistency of crispy packing tape and about as sticky as a Nankang tyre on a damp B-road corner
  8. Ill see if TCB have any flux capacitors from a breaker that i can whack on my 162 then....
  9. Cheers anyway though dudes...Andy you need to move nearer Kent mate LOL
  10. LOL long way to go yet!Ha!
  11. Hi guys ,as some may know i also own a GT-R JDM 4WS TEMS ST183 (i love printing that.its a jap gen5 basically LOL). I have to get an MOT done pretty damn soon, but i poked a hole in a smallish area on the drivers side outer sill....so i need a smallish plate welding....has to be a mobile job as car is SORN'd. Its on a drive with plenty of room, power, tea bacon sarnies etc .Im just outside Maidstone,Kent. Anybody do this kind of thing ?I've put some feelers out ,got one feller who says he'll pop round but seems a bit disinterested in making cash on the side for some reason  Any recommendations for someone who wont charge ridiculous prices for a plate/quote,be appreciated.I've Googled a couple of maybes but thought i'd check here first in case theres a bored welder with a van out there Cheers Sherv
  12. Hmm not for me...bit OTT
  13. Nice one Lou,car sounds sweet mate and looks like you had a hoot!More fun than the Audi mate LOL
  14. Whatever it takes at that exact moment to put a grin on my face
  15. I also found cling film was good at wrapping around electrical plugs/connectors to keep water out.Just have to be selective and careful where you spray mate.
  16. 90k eh, thats virtually delivery mileage.Go for it,you can give your mate a lift sometime when his is on the hard shoulder somewhere
  17. well dont drift too far fella,we need the Cat in the Hat around LOL. Back to topic, the orange/black combo is definitely better.
  18. Holy crap.No wonder theres so much good stuff goes down the pan these days.At least its going to a good home, but yeah know how you must feel, was a nice looker (and goer) that car
  19. Does sound like arizonas on to something there
  20. Cheers Ian,ill try and bring some bits n bobs myself.
  21. LOL cheers Ian,yeah you know as well as I do it takes some doing to get significant numbers of gen4 s together compared to the other gens, but well do our best again this year to make it successful.be good to finally say hello as well mate if you can make it.
  22. I'll be posting up on st162.net which is a worldwide gen4 forum....ive also posted a request on the TOC and ive registered over on retrorides though i can't post there just yet,any suggestions for where i might find some gen4s or if anyone is a member of a forum that may be remotely relevant then ill appreciate the help!
  23. Hi you guys ,some of you may know me from the gen4 section amongst others,i always take an interest in all the gens of Celica, but especially the gen4 for obvious reasons:so ill get to the point. This will be the third year us gen4 owners will be trying to get a specific gen4 meet together again:We did our first in 2010,had another good one in 2011 and now we are arranging a third, alongside the old skool cars from the Toyota Enthusiasts Club at Billing,Northampton on Sunday,August 26th. This isnt a strictly CCUK event:in fact any gen4s from any toyota based club,or no club at all,are welcome.Any condition, even if they arrive on a trailer it matters not. And this is the point,it is to celebrate a very dwindling generation of Celica, unfortunately all the jokes about rust are correct, there are too many of these cars succumbing to lack of love and knowledge, which to me is very sad.Remember all the rally heritage of these cars, all those awesome milestones in motorsport that helped the Toyota marque be what is it today, amongst others, that enable us to enjoy the later cars we have now. So,if you can help us out,if you know of anybody who has a gen4 Celica, then please let me know. Its these kind of meets that enable enthusiasts to swap parts and knowledge and have a damn good social while we're at it.Also this year because its on the same ground as the TEC theres the opportunity to have a good look around some proper Toyota Old skool metal, including 60's cars,Toyota Crowns,Gen1 Celicas,to name a few.Anyone is welcome,a good family day out and although if you dont own a gen4 you ll have to park in the main car park, have yourselves a mini meet and maybe give us a bit of support!Be a good day i reckon if i can drum up some gen4s for the main event,so as i say let me know if you have any info or can maybe post up for me these details on any forums you may think might be helpful. There is an entrance fee i believe, around ten quid-ish,but well worth it.Any support always greatly appreciated guys. Thanks for reading, and apologies for the long thread:but hey,im an enthusiast!LOL.A few pics to show what we do best. Derren (sherv)
