  1. gt4 owners all shrug and wonder whats the problem
  2. i found covers blow around alot , if they manage to stay on then the motion of the wind blowing them rubs down your paint screwing it up massivley , thisis why lined are worth the extra £ , other issue is water , cover keeps it off yeah but no , water rises from under the car and rots the poor thing , after no time at all water will get into the car and stay there creating at the very least mold but can rot out the roof and the floor plus do interesting things to the elecs me i dont bother , its rained on and given the degree of wax it is looking rather good concidering its not had a wash for 6+ months
  3. thats rough man , heres hoping your ok ( you dont mention it but we all feel concern , kindly let us know ) if it helps i dare say the club can offer a valuation so you get due deserts :( :( :( :( :(
  4. in a word no ebay.com , costs a bit for import tax but will save at least £100
  5. cool , did mine today as the sun was out gto ,pain in the arse , look great but ............
  6. the gen 6 cant fit the 5 as the inner wing is giant on the 5 , i tried all sorts of ways to get them to bolt up but its just not happening , its possible only with a plate off the back of the hinge and attach to that with the arms running own the side of the suspension turret if you find any then give me a shout as id buy some also , i should flog off the stil in the box gen 6 risers i have here
  7. a quick look at the shape of the plastics the 5 looks a little flatter but theres not much in it , the floor pan is rounder on the 5 , should fit and hey if it doesnt ill lash it
  8. ah i never think to click on classified
  9. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c24e2debb http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c24e2debb a members car but with 1 sticker in the window , im sure ive seen this before somewhere around , loving the front end and its a dam shame about the drivers wing dent ( why are they always dented ? )
  10. 2002 jae ? i could also have been there ? its more than likely congrats
  11. grids look the best but offset is an issue , ifffffffffffff you can find them in 5 x 100 there at 23 which means you will need your wings rolled so i say boosts are good ,,,,,,,,,,,, and did
  12. apart from our kids ive not seen another celica for 2 weeks , it seems there all in wiltshire
  13. looking to get mine done at this place so a very belated thank you
  14. kin ell , back in the day this could happen but ive not heard anything like this for years , id be sending those back from where they came from for sure just in case there a bad batch
  15. Happy Anniversary izzzzythedog!

  16. its a reference to chewing ,,, myself being a total child always finds it comical
  17. the polished parts of my wheels are now a lovely furry effect thanks to the bloody gritters running up and down our road , the lip had half inch of grit on it ! i changed wheels over , that sorted it
  18. it doesnt , the 5 has a bit of metal the 6 doesnt have , the bit inbetween the headlights , because of this it doesnt go , a 6 goes into a 6 ( just ) , a 5 cant go into a 6 , a 5 cant go into a 5 when i collected the cs bonnet in my beams i dropped in onto the open boot aperture , couple of pillows then tied the boot lid down onto the bonnet , noisey but did the job
  19. okay buy the taxi , drive it a while with a firm time frame set up in that 1 has to go , give it say 6 weeks and then sit back and decide , after this time you will be able to fairly compare living with either , i expect after the first 2 weeks of having a little more power and once you fee the difference between the 2 the scooby wont be so sweet an idea
  20. yah , zero would be completely flat to the disk with the entire wheel sticking out , 35 is standard and say 50 would be skimming the suspension leg theres also the thickness of the wheel itself plus the width of the rim ,,,, so a 7 inch width with an offset of say 48 will just about clear wheres an 8 inch will rub
  21. know that feeling , id jump up and down on the roof of the vert at times but would fall through , such a mint car and yet doesnt want to play the friggin game half the time so i drive other celicas and ponder the vert more than anything else , others are reliable so they get used i wouldnt have a 190 , not really a step up , more a shuffle sideways , id buy a supra and kill off loads of petrol and money just to blow it out of the system and then fix the inconciderate bastard of a 5 slowly
  22. 250-400 quid as a rule on most clutches unless there boxer engines ( of course yours isnt ) so id take it elsewhere
  23. drive it fella , there not exactly quick , they tend to have shit build quality and break rather alot , when they do break they cost the friggin earth to sort out out as there massivley over complicated for what is needed plus although theres plenty of companys making parts now bmw still sting you really hard if you must or want to change to something else then look elsewhere as there simply not that good
