  1. to me theres a world of cars , how boring would life be to be stuck with the same car for yrs on end , theres also peer pressure to deal with , a friend of mine got outbid on a noble a couple of days ago !!! tvr , not too old , must be stupidly loud and aggressive lotus , one you can get in and out of something along the lines of a w12 vw but after removing the speed restrictions or perhaps something such as an slr mrclaren
  2. `aint gunna bore you with the details fella except to say there was once a time you could buy at the right price and bring here , these days are over however what is the point in posting if i cant be a helpfull bugger aye ireland or being more accurate eire , a car imported to here suffers tax except at a low rate that UK.PLC ( the robbing bastards ) so if you really wanted to do it then you would be wise to find a car from there , bring it here endure the bullshit of reg and a bit of tax and viola 1 beams for you with a great spec , doing this you dont endure the grand container rate , you will have a beams for between 2-3 grand for a very nice car , also you get to view it yourself as you can fly over and drive it back , there is a bit of paperwork but nothing as bad as from japan itself
  3. not working IMO , needs a bit of colour in it , if you want to girlie it up a bit then hows about brightening it up at the same time ? perhasps the same across the boot lid to weigh things up ?
  4. same shit different day with mine someone cut into a stop light to use as the fog so im running around with 2 bulbs lighting up on the right and just 1 on the left , i may as well write all coppers are wankers on the boot and be done with ! so ive reattached this cut into the middle stop light to become the fog light , the light is still lit on the dash but i intend to remove the bulb when i get round to it , cars managed 100 yrs without having a light on the dash so i recon ill just about survive
  5. cant see the problem , mines got at least 3 thousand bhp ,,,, we are making shit up right ?
  6. yep , its arguable that a sports car can be an auto so there isnt many , i like the autos myself , the acceleration is rather good
  7. auto`s fetch about 200 quid less than there manual brothers , so a nice car which is in good nick and has been looked after is worth say 1200-1500 on a stirrer and a grand with an auto , selling yours should release a couple of hundred quid , you may even be able to swop it as people desire a manual more than autos ?
  8. cabs=convertible = vert

just spent 4.5 hrs shoe shopping to make up for this engine , man i suffered for my sins

  9. sort of on topic how are people bleeding there brakes , ive an easybleed and the bloody caps dont fit , are people using a kit or the old school shouting at your kids to pump and hold
  10. being honest walk into a half reasonable spares shop and there a couple of quid over the counter
  11. ill be happy to be wrong about this http://www.nobody.org.uk/temp/acc_rear_brake_bleed_screw_new_vs_old.jpg the taper to the end has a seat it matches to , the thread just holds the beastie in place , on slacking off the fluid pushes past the seal and into the hole and out the top , the thread cant seal at all as well its a thread and thread such as this has a massive area so its not possible to seal
  12. it can be 5 inch long for all the difference it makes but as long as the seat is the same angle and it reaches long enough to seat correctly then its good
  13. being honest im not a sticker fan , however i recon it looks better than the castrol sticker kits , id like to see it in the flesh
  14. clifford with proximity , simply put you walk past it and it bleeps at you , i keep getting reports back of the neighbours of young hoodies checking out the mrs glanza V at 3 am , they tend to jump out of their skins when they look through a window and the alarm shouts at them
  15. cruising in with the roof down and a smile on my face on the back of a lowloader off to do some work on the car !!!
  16. convertible ................ bloody fantastic
  17. `kin ell dont do that , you cant remove the blobs really but may make them look better , a bit of wet and dry the highest number you can find ( 2000 grit or more ) , wrap a credit card in this and gentally flat the lumps down , then T-cut the shit out of it and polish , should look the part
  18. i think its something to do with an automatic light turner on and off
  19. woof woof a feckin dog , 380 bhp , must be the air filter , happens every time , note its also a lightweight going on the rust on the wing and what a delightfull wedge lashed to the bonnet , must be a delight having to look at the back of that at every traffic light
  20. think ill turn up in the 6 and swop plates
  21. i wish , the cs , the last beams was 164/6 ( cant remember ) at the wheels , i wasnt happy about that at all
  22. i cant tell you just how much i want one of these now never used myself , best i ever came across was in effect a forklift , 2 bars shot out and it had 2 lifting points on each arm , this lifted the car , sounds good ? well the thing was on wheels and had an additional elec motor rigged to it so you could move the car whist in the air around , it was brilliant and about 10 grand
  23. a dyno is the very best place to start from before doing a thing , complete waste of money really but who doesnt love those bits of paper , mine says 199.6 at the wheels by the way
