  1. Hi guys, Now from what I can see, I have the twin piston calpers on my SS3 I am in despo need of front pads, i dnt need anything too posh as i will be upgrading to GT4 brakes in the near future. Plz Plz help, I have no idea what to look for coz all i seem to find on ebay are UK spec pads. Are they the same size? Also does my SS3 have the same size discs as an SS2/GT Your help is appreciated Humayun p.s. will ST185 front brakes fit my SS3 and will it be an improvement?
  2. I used to use Mr Sheen on my Silver Paseo a few years ago. Not only was it cheap but the finish was ultra smooth, shiny, and water would repel off it really well. Try it.
  3. Revs are there to be used, so i use them. The BEAMS just gets better and better the higher you go.
  4. Will acetone in Super Unleaded make any difference?
  5. Ive embarassed a couple of TT's and done loads of BMW 3 series, mercs etc. EP3 civic Type R, cudnt quite get past. Biggest surprise was an Audi RS4 Avant (twin turbo) it was giving it all taht stuck to my arse, i dropped it to 4th and stretched the BEAMS out a little then into 5th but the RS4 brute wouln't come past me even when i gave him space. no balls i say
  6. My first car was an EP91 Starlet Sportif. That is when my love afair with the starlet began. I also owened a Stralet SR before i entered Celica ownership. I am considering buying a starlet to stop putting too may miles on the SS3. But back to the point. Glanza/GT turbo you can't go wrong with. Theyre fast and easy to tune, jus look out for all the things Chanelle has mentioned. For peace of mind i would go for a car that has not been modified just so you know what you are doing and not busy fixing someone elses mod/bodge. Love Starlets
  7. Stick to N/A and stick to the Toyota crew. I'd recommend a Lexus SC430. You will also have alot of change from £15k
  8. Very Very cheeky man. But the plate is covered up and it's only a representation of the projectors. I guess this isn't soo bad, but the geezer cud easily take a picture of the actual lights making the advert more accurate.
  9. Nice wheels, will be a pain to keep clean tho.
  10. They are both special machines but also completely different. I'd keep the BEAMS. Not only is in newer, but it's non turbo, bullet proof engine and pretty much guaranteed 200 ponies that can be used everyday. CS is an appreciating car, but 4 wheel drive, turbo, and rocketing fuel prices don't mix too well. Also on the news today they have been banging on about all cars whether driven or not need to be insured. Just my 2p's worth.
  11. Car obsession.......is it healthy?..........I think so.

  12. Ther are nice seats and good value, i'm sur eIcould get someone to embroider TRD on them. All the cars rolled out at the same time, there were almost 40 cars on the track, so i couldn't give the BEAMS a good thrashing which was a shame. I am now determined to do a proper track day at Goodwood. It would be awsome.
  13. Black Recaro's from JDM DC2 Integra's are nice. Much more subtle than the in your face red.
  14. Thanks for the comments guys. Red Recaro's would be sweet, mega money tho. I have been in contact with Wrappers De-Lite and defo having the read number plate surround carbon wrapped. dont do black wheels, white on white ftw, a black roof may look good tho I do like the wheels in white, i may just get them refurbed in the body colour.
  15. Thanks mate. I got the springs with the car, not sure, but i'd day about 40mm altho the right hand side of the car looks lower, wheter it is coz i'm heavy, or the fact that the shocks are due to be replaced, i don't know lol. I do have TRD Coilovers waiting to be fitted, so it will be lower. I also plan to have the roof done in gloss black, wheels also in gloss black and same again with the rear number plate surround. Any thoughts.
  16. My staurday started with me going to Homebase (2 mins away from my house) to get the car washed. Lazy I know, but they do a good job for a fiver. Sods law it rained straight after. I then decided to go and see what was happening at the Goodwood Motor Circuit (again only 2 mins away from my house), as there is usually something happening on saturdays. It was an MG Track day, not my kind of thing, but some nice motors were there. I dried my car again with a chamois and took some pics, after which i drove round to the pit side of the track to see some cars up close. It was 11.45 when I heard one of the organisers holler at a few drivers to get in line for the 'Parade Lap'. I asked him what this meant, it's a lunch time Parade Lap done for charity where all cars are allowed on track (no racing). I was allowed to take part for a £10 donation. So i went from being a nosey spectator to getting 3 laps on the Goodwood Race Circuit. I apologise if this has been boring to read, but it made my day And here ar the pics of my car. Enjoy. And a brutal MG that I thought was only a concept?? There were 2 of these, the other was grey
  17. Shame about Celica, Ignis Sport, nice funky little hatch. There was one near me that had been supercharged, thing was mental.
  18. Extremely impractical. But i love the look of it.
  19. The video is of a Gen 7, but all Celica owners should have a look, I apologise if this has been posted already
