  1. Agreed - like I found on one of the blown pre-facelift 140s I had in recently that had a leaking oil filter!
  2. saw one of these on the road last week: http://www.lotuscars.com/en/lotus-evora very nice
  3. what about the new ft-86
  4. Blimey - Im always getting dirt, oil, etc in my eyes, i usually use goggles when using a grinder but think ill use them a bit more now, hope they can find a way of sorting for you mate.
  5. nope they are the larger toyota 5 stud fitment, same as camry, previa, supra, 5x114.3 i think
  6. Leads???? Is indivuidual coil packs on the celica
  7. Ive got 2 tanks now as I do between 600 and 1400 miles a week - one goes in the spare wheel which is a 45litre tank, the other behind the seats which is 49 litres and takes up half the boot. The 2 tanks together give a range of 530 miles or so, 94 litres at 65p ( I reckon I could do 600 miles if I drove a bit more sensibly) You can buy an LPG map which is useful for when your travelling about.
  8. LPG all the way mate - if its done properly you wont notice the difference
  9. Word of advice for anyone using jacks and axle stands and going under the car - once your wheel is off - stick it under the car - that way if your axle stand or jack gives up - or even your sill gives in - your wheel will stop it landing on you
  10. If its not been serviced for a while could be a dirty air filter or worn out plugs - but ive had really worn plugs on the 7 without any issues - so they'd both have top be pretty bad - but worth checking.
  11. hmm black smoke would indicate fuel problem - O2 sensor or maybe MAF - clean the MAF and see it it goes - any vaccum pipes off anywhere? Any mods on the car?
  12. thats my car with my old urban racers on - your pic has loads of holes - which wolfrace dont normally do
  13. black or blue smoke? black is normally over-fueling, - any warning lights on? blue would be oil - sometimes hard to see the diff water leak - check down the bottom of the rad - feel if its wet - not easy to see it on the 7
  14. look a bit like a very old wolfrace wheel that they did about 10 years ago - but different - any chance of a bigger pic
  15. another symptom - telling anyone who will listen how its never broken down and has spaceship mileage...
  16. looks a good job - u should have a go at your front lip mate
  17. sounds like a really long drive - how many miles 300 - 400?
  18. i would try just soap and water before you start using cutting compound - you can make a mess with it if your not careful - move up to t-cut if that doesnt work and if you really need to use cutting compound. Get some pics up
  19. as long as you have the same size on each axle then yes it will pass. Only thing is if the overall radius is significantly different for a pair it will put the ABS light on
  20. I put flake in mine it does look good when its not too bright but in the sun its a bit too much, its quite difficult to get it right - so well worth practicing on a few old panels first. I wouldn't do it again and if my car wasnt hitting space ship mileage I would probably nitromours the whole car and do it without it.
  21. I had this on my mini years ago, was running 155 instead of standard 145 - and was fine - put a new set of tyres on - different make but still 155 and they started catching...
  22. That thread has been doing the rounds all over the shop for about a year in various forms - and a lot of it isnt true at all
  23. at least ur ok mate - are you looking for another 6?
  24. between 600 and 1400 since last June
