  1. Use genuine Toyota for life coolant, it's the best stuff, the 7 is a pain to bleed and u probably are just working the air lock out.
  2. that £4 price might not include balancing, £8 - £9 for a changeover and balance is normal

  4. Hi - Speak to Stephen G - he has just completed a similar build to a similar standard as Simon - in terms of value I would say between 7 and 10k. I was talking to another member a few weeks back about how much of a top bloke Simon was.

  8. yep - the other day I almost used oil that had come out of another car but resisted!
  9. Used to be cleaned inside and out every week, now gets parts thrown in it all the time, rear seats are always down, lucky if it gets a clean once a month

  11. I would strip it with starchem or nitromours and let them do the primer - else if it doesnt come out well they will blame it on poor prep - or may want to cut back your primer

  13. I had a uk is200 - only kept it for a few weeks was planning on replacing the g7 with it - very nice car to drive - had 120,000 but was very smooth and a lovely drive, in the end, kept the g7 as needed the load area
  14. if its running well - why change it? just because its high mileage doesnt mean its bad - mine has 175k and ive seen ones with 90k running a lot worse

  21. The aux input is for the CD player - but you can get a little control unit (to trick it) so that u can plug a ipod straight in removal is straight forward - will show you next time I see you pal
  22. u get good dealers and bad, you get good private sellers and bad - ive almost always bought privately - but the wifes yaris came from a toyota dealer - they did do my head in though trying to sell me supagaurd and an extended warranty....
  23. most common is maf for lean fuel, do you have an induction kit
