8 years last week, bought my main gen7 (still have this one) and signed up just before then since then bought a ta22 and sold it a st162c and then sold it a ta40 that I started to restore and gave up after I got it running another ta22 and another st162c and another gen7 (all that I still have)

Just ordered one, don't need one as have a proper starter/charger one, just interesting to see the results, might plug it into a drained one for a month and see if I can start a car from it after.

izzy how many watts is yours rated at? always thought the £20 ones would probably drain more than charge!

better gearing, when I was driving a corolla t-sport it felt a lot better even lower down

If the 6 is running fine, why rebuild it? I did a full 1zz build when my car hit 150,000 but the engine is still sat here waiting to be fitted as mine is showing no signs of giving up - its on 197k now

Paseo is fairly small inside as well mate, great cars, used to get around 300 miles for 36litres or so. LPG all the way, with your skills you could probably fit yourself too. Not much about for the money that you will get for the 6

if its happy with 0w30 - then go for it, if you find it burns it, then go up. Ive been using 10w40 semi since about 100k as it burnt 5w30 too quickly - now on 197k!

The Mot has some regs about it I think but it's very hard to enforce as some cars come louder than others from the factory. Think the police have to have a sound meter to book you for it.

Both cool wheels - be tempted to keep both sets - and switch them over every 6 months

I sell tailgates with holes for spoilers (spoiler removed) for £25. I Normally call saloon or proper coupes - boots- ie no glass.

It still exists, is about £20 for a 20ml bottle it's made of silver. Think it's called electrocure or something. What colour is your tailgate and does it have a spoiler?

Good effort on doing it with the wing on mate! Never tried doing it that way as usually the wings are the first things that sell on the car! May give it a go if I ever have another one with the wing still on.

had them come off, the first time I was going to meet my girlfriends (now wife) mates and parents, had a white shirt on and got covered in dirt, luckily a shop was open when i got there, had some old wire in the boot luckily, now keep tie bands in the boot too
