  1. Thinking of it... The last trackday i was on, There was a Fiesta ST infront of me... Granted i was in a 190, but I wasn't always in the lift power band. I was catching him up big time on the corners more than the actual straights before having to head into the pits ... Now that i knew this discussion was about.. i should have done another lap! I guess i had an extra 40 horses if i was on the straights But it was really down to the driver.... 8 minutes in till the end PLUS also.. you're never going to really be in a sitatuation of comparing a car down to the fine detail. And if you were on the track, it isn't really about who is faster.. it is about how much enjoyment you got out of it ragging your car round. You have bought yourself a nice car..... enjoy it!
  2. My friend has a red one He was going to show me what it was made of on track, But he pulled out last minute. I wanted to see what it was like actaully. He actually told me it is relatively fast, Also.. recaro seats?
  3. If you want a nice deal on cleaning products. Halfords is doing Autoglym super resin polish for £11.99 for a 1 litre bottle! which is a 1/3 off The 375 ml bottle is 10.99 So.. clearly it seems like a heck of a deal!
  4. I only recently found out on photo bucket, you can do an array of things. I just downloaded some sort of photoshop, and was proud i could do colour changing and editing colours and what not.. Then realised when it sent a picture to my friend how silly my efforts was, as photo bucket is just way way easier for simple tasks.
  5. Thats what i was thinking!!
  6. ALSO.. You need to somehow push back the piston before the pads go back in......., SO.. a hardcore screw G clamp C clamp or whatever clamp. With a piece of wood on the piston surface. That of the proper piston pushing tool which i have read about, but never seen.... Or if all fails, a crow bar and somehow to lever to push the piston back. Remembering the fluid cap is to be removed
  7. Well I secretly love them.... The brighter and the more of the floor that is lit up the better... But i was never sure about the legality
  8. These are tapered nuts..... You sure they work with the GT wheels? as Tapered nuts are for after market wheels..... (so i read anyway).. Technically speaking Fondmetal Tech 5's are after market but i forgot to see how the hole looks like when i removed a wheel nut.
  9. I wasn't lucky enough to have a 1 on 1 shoot Nah it is ok.... I already have too many pictures of my car on my computer. (more pictures than myself!) But i do have..... *note*... i am missing a photo on the bottom right.. Would have been perfect with a bluewater night time shot... Ah well Next time!
  10. I suddenly feel like i wasn't at the Bluewater meet
  11. Beat you to it! Well.. the first few seconds of it....
  12. What is it? No seriously.... what is it ?
  13. the hook has 2 holes.. Comes with 2 bolts and another bit of metal with 2 holes. Simply just bolts onto the orignial Hook under the bumper I would go for Black, as too much Red clashes.
  14. Sj is selling his Greddy Touch infometer. if i remember correctly
  15. Turns out London Postmen are bloody hardcore Arrived at 6pm... Either they were very late, or they work right up to the end of the working day.. Whahoooo... Thanks to everyone involved!!! Looks Awemazing...as in, Awesome and Amazing!
  16. I do like seeing my car on the front... !! But.. mine hasn't arrived yet.. So i can; admire in it's true form! Stupid London postmen..
  17. God.. your postman sure is hardcore Mine doesn't ever deliver anything before 11am..
  18. So does that mean that London mail is 1 day slower? or i wasn;t one of the lucky ones chosen for the 1st batch ? Looking at my 2010 calander, It is still on the November page ... It should REALLY be on the 1st december page!
  19. Update.... Mook has returned my Blinging bits.. He also has amazingly neat hand writting, Never have i seen such neat hand writting on a letter to myself But onwards to pictures as we all love them These are probably the worse pictures which has come from my Phone.. as i was rushing to stick the double sided foam, then to my car before work started.. Gold GT badge infill- Finger prints ALL over the bling.. I have oily skin?? Or just the price to pay when you have bling.. Lots of cleaning to get them to shine... Chrome Gold club stickers And Re badged... (bad angle) I know how people love the debadged look, But i want to be proud of my GT, Thus i put them all back on. They look Amazing and had to get them back onto my car as soon as they came though the post.. Thanks Mook, Your work is Quality!
  20. Yup.. on the car already.. Though.. only a few bolts fit... maybe half of them, I.e.. the one holding on the VVTLI cover... those weren't long enough, And for the Spark plugs too.. So, I had to changed the ones holding the lights down.. and some other ones... Maybe i should get some Gold watches, bracelets, necklaces.. and teeth to match... No no.. i'll just get a Gold credit card, Whenever they allow me to have that much credit...
  21. My Callipers have been Gold since day 1... well more like 2 weeks after i got it.... I would shoot it with lacquer... But.. It'll dull down the chrome ... I doubt the gold will magically rub off, As The way i did it was.... Paint the edges to the best i can... Let it dry, and got 0 grade wire wool to rub off the excess. .. Didn;t even rub off what i was after as the ridge is deep. And hey presto, only the ridge was painted..... The only way to remove it is with a needle and scratch it off...
  22. Well Just to show something I today.. A very very very small job. Thought i'd paint my Toyota Badge.... The GT comes with a Red Toyota badge and a Red GT badg with chrome surrounds, And this just Doens't fly with the colour scheme i'm going for... And the fact the red was already coming off from jet washing and the Clay Bar. So.. I chipped off the original Red with a coin,,, and started painting.. Orginially, I thought i'd paint where the red used to be... But realised i couldn't get a good finish with the brush. So i took it all off and had a new approach... Painting the little "ditch" between the 2 chrome bits... And here are the results.. Will go nicely with my Gold infills, and Mook has my GT badge making an infill to fit into that, And of course Gold Club Stickers.... Just awaiting on those to stick onto the car All in the name of achieving Gold Member
