  1. gimme 5 minutes, i'll upload someone more pictures for you Edit Okies.. From what I can see, yes the base is larger the whole way round the whole blade profile. Was the Replica Spoiler like this? and you sent it back because you thought it wasn't quite right? Also a link for us to look at might be useful, as some of us have bought GT replica spoilers in the past.
  2. Eh! I am not sure what you mean. But from what i read it is about the fixing point from the Blade to the legs. So on either sides of the blade. Can you point on where you mean and i'll get on it, or take another picture for you if need be From what I can see on my spoiler, The leg's blade fitting "base" is slightly larger than the blade's profile... If you want more pictures Just shoot a reply.
  3. actually, My After market Exhaust is not very loud, But I prefer not sticking an induction kit on. Purely as I like the howling noise my exhaust makes over the induction roar. I am running an K&N pannel with the butterfly taken out (Noise control valve) So it has some Grunt, But the noise of the Apexi N1 is just sexy, Sporty but not stupid loud. Up to personal taste though
  4. How do you plan to attach you exhaust tip onto your car? You can either get the screw on ones, Which looks pretty naff as you'll see a smaller pipe inside a larger pipe. - I've had a few which fell off my 206 back in the day, That was probably very dangerous for the car behind me Or get weld on ones, Weld on one will be better, But Again, you need to weld it which is effort. All in All. IT is probably better to go for A cat back exhaust system, Or a custom made one from power flow which you can select whatever tip you want. You have a Celica, Specifically a GT. Treat it right. When modding, Doing it right 1st time round means you'll save money and time compared to doing it again on a later date. In terms of Exhaust tips, it is generally viewed as a no no compared to a proper exhaust back box.
  5. Case Closed: Repairs all finished today For the full Story- Link to my Mod thread
  6. You'll find that is a digimod redendering, Saw this a while back. So... no go buddy.. But i do like it!!
  7. 4 is the maximum in a 7... but I sat in the back of a celica when were was 2 in the front. 4 in the back. On a "private" road of course. I took home a 6 foot flat packed cabinet from Ikea with the GT. Whooo Work horse!
  8. The Celica is ALSO very practical. Big boot, fold the seats down for a HUGE boot. That was one factor i knew i needed when i purchased.
  9. I remember hearing once upon a time, that if you pootle along (like how a granny drives) with your car for a long time, it is bad for the engine? So that is becomes sluggish and what not. And that once in a while you should rev the nuts off your car as thats what it is made to do.
  10. sorry but.. this celica is worse The Sport M in question looks fecking amazing compared to this one
  11. Ummmmm Aren't those seats Sport M factory standard?
  12. With the amount of sweat i had on my hands, There was no way i was keeping them clean unless i wash my hands every 10 seconds. Maybe a glove.... Dang. won;t be re trying it anytime soon, my fingers are burnt and hurt. But i'll live with it for a while.. Everyone loves pictures
  13. Yup using the needle trick. But, Some bubbles, Because i have strectched it so far, popping a bubble and squeezing air means i'll still get a crease. Ah well... It'll never be perfect with the materials i am using. Maybe if it were Sex... on a gold bed... Then yes.... sure.. lol
  14. Just fitted it back in. Thank god my climate control and clock still work after flinging it around on the table, neogiciating the heat gun with the shrinking and expanding and blah blah blah. IT is SO distracting, Even in the dark, It is so eye catching... So that's why they don;t make colourful centre consoles... Hmmmm Ah well.. Got to live with it for a while.
  15. Actaully no... Had enough of wrapping now.. I have enough to do it............... But it is a pain in the arse when i don't want to dissasbble the mechanism .. So i'll just leave it for . now .... Plus the buttoms are grey.So lets just say it is colour coded.
  16. It clearly wasn't the pricey stuff Give it a few weeks or months. When it all peels off, They will need to be wrapped again, in the GOOD stuff.
  17. My god.. Bit off more than i could chew.. Got some vinyl wrap from ebay, The not so fancy stuff which pros use.. Thought i'd Wrap a few house hold goods. Laptops, Phones. Bottle openers.. That was all practice for the bigger picture... MY God. I'll never do it ever again, I'll gladdly pay a professional to do. The fact that... Vinyl is 2d...(flat) and objects are 3d. By blind luck, I someone managed to complete the task at hand with a scalpel and a heat gun. There are SOME bubbles and SOME wrinkles, But thats the best i can do for a £7.50 roll of yes.. you guessed it.. GOLD CF Vinyl . For all the wrappers out there.. I salute you!
  18. as in the bolt broke inside the spoiler? how about using an extractor drill bit tool http://www.rapidonline.com/1/1/18621-hss-screw-drill-bit-extractor-set-5pc.html Tiger seal will work, But. It will be the case of, come to take it off for any reason. It'll be a nightmare.
  19. Ask Adrian (Mr Fensport) yourself one day when you come to a car show like Jap fest or Jap show... He loves talking to Club members about his car!
  20. You don't necessarily need to go for premium brands like michlin, pirelli or bridgestone. Heck, If i had the money i'll be rocking in those sort of tyres. only £600 a change every year..... But in the real world there is always a cheaper alternative which provides great performance with a smaller price tag Many members use mid range tyres like toyo, falken and avon. As close to the same performance to premium brands but costs less and (might) last longer. But stay away from budget brands that you've never heard of, They are for sure death causers for our "high performance cars". Pay for what you get, and clearly budget you are paying for a route to a quicker death/accident
  21. But to answer your question, 40's will make the ride quite a bit harsher. and your speedo will be slightly out ever so slightly. Also.. for the price you're getting your tyres for- unless they are a decent brand. I would spent at least double a tyre for mid range tyres. Like Avon or Falkens. You can get those for 80 ish a corner. I got my Falkens for 291 for all 4 fitted the other week. Course i was also using 215/45/17 which is a standard size of tyres in comparison to 205/45/17 or even 205 40 17
  22. Yeah i found that quite odd too. They marked up the prices big time as it is the case of everyone jumping on board on a winning case. Injury lawyers and all that jazz wanting to win more for themselves more than for the client. In this case Enterprise is doing the same thing as they'll claim all the costs from the other insurers. They were all very happy for me take their car "premium" car off their hands, also under the age of 25- which they will never rent you a nice car for my age. If I had any other rubbish car being repaired they would have give me a Ford Ka, But I had the choice and insisted I were to take the Estate. I wasn't paying so I didn't care too much what i took, So it is just car rental places striking a referral deal with insurers. A very win win situation for them so. Sucky in how the whole operation jacks up insurances premiums, But it is just how the world goes round.
  23. Let's just say. Whatever will go on it, It will: Be painted Thunder grey (well that's obvious) Compliment the car in the form it is now. More aesthetically pleasing than the way it was pre-crash. Make people drool due to the pure sexy nature of the product.
