  4. Picked it up today. Took her from Barnsley back to Lincoln in bloody rain.
  5. Its not very hard, take the dials apart unclip the digital fuel/temp gauge and behind it there is around 15 smts, you will need to put a filter in between the two facias as the smts will be too bright. Received yesterday new centres for the caps .
  6. http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/95481-dials-service/page__st__20 About half way down the page. VERY small smts and you need small tweezers and a very steady hand.
  7. Happy Anniversary diablo7772!

  8. Give me a pm and we can have a chat about this.
  9. I use this stuff. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/raceglaze-alcantara-cleaner.html Works great. Removed all the stains and the seats look fresh and new .
  10. Get in touch with ams to get one with similar mileage, order a facia of mook and i could always install it for you even if its a 140 clock you can always get the facia made to fit a 190 clock .
  11. Mileage is stored on the clock unit. You can put an old 140 dials in and it would still work. The mileage is different on every unit same as every car is different.
  12. Just look on there mate, there is a few there but iv lost most of the pics on my old laptop http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/95481-hi-guys/

  14. Thats really unlucky Paul. You don't have very good luck with your car now and again such as your alloys ect. I do love the look of your car! Hopefully it will get sorted with ease mate.

  16. Same problem with me, The front brakes will get changed as the disks are fuuked but the pads are not far of being new . Normally go thro 2 sets of pads in 1 set of disks.
  17. Ill get another garage have a look at it, i had the engine replaced at dewsbury a while ago and i think that's what might be the problem. I got a quote around 610 inc vat, that's from the first garage.
  18. I do but the problem is i laid so much bloody money into this one
  19. Well about 4 weeks ago my car started to loose a lot of coolant and after taking it to a garage a couple of times to find the fault they told me its the headgasket. I dont really know much about the problem and no idea how much it will cost to fix. Just wondering if any one had the same problem or any one has a solution? Im eather thinking paying to get it fixed, sell it, or part ex for a GT. Its a Gen 7 Vvti 03 plate Any help would be great. Nik
  20. The cheeky comment! "0 to 60 in 7 seconds (not like slow 140 BHP version, which will lose race with any 2 litre diesel )." The bastard ! Not any just some
  21. Yeah most people do that Scott and what normally happends is he will send you an email when he is sending the facia off and you will send the dials off same day so i get them. Just check my corporate page. Cheers, Nik
  22. 1: Simple answer is (YES) but you won't know the revs, miles, temp, fuel and of course the speed. 2: No it won't, it is all stored on the unit it self. Mook doesn't do the changing service thats why i went corporate on here. I do change the smts and all the facia which you can buy off mook, the turn around normally takes 3 days as it takes 1 day to send and recive, 1 evening/night to do the dials and i send them off the next day. Some people have used sat navs to check the speed for the 3 days it takes. I can also recalibrate it to the tom tom speed but i do keep it a 1mph off so you don't get in trouble . Hope that helps
