Sorry, but anyone can call themselves anything international, don't be suckered in by a name
I would be highly surprised if there are any new major developments in Gen 7 Celica tuning coming out in the near future, short of what Se7en does as he is the only company in the UK that i know of who is actively developing any performance products for the Gen 7
Not meaning to sound rude or anything, but you don't seem to know a great deal about cars asking questions like that
The guys response is more likely to give him time to think up things he can sell you and tell you it will give you XX bhp increase
Best place to ask is here, what we don't know isn't worth knowing about
Just had my 4th year, then the Celica decided to try and kill me, so i'm killing it first
Longest i have ever had a car though, so there must be something in it
I'm 99% sure i'm doing it right as i have removed the CV joints off the other side and off the other pair of driveshafts off the donor car, but this one just won't budge
Well, it's managed to defeat everyone at work, even the maintenance fitter who can pretty much fix anything
So it looks like i will have to resort to plan B and use the unknown drive shaft out of the donor car
I think you get a new ring with the CV joint, so shouldn't be a problem snapping one
I have brought it to work with me where we have bigger vices and bigger hammers
This one just will not knock off, i even brought out my small lump hammer with no luck
I could use the driveshafts off the donor car, but i know mine are in good nick as the inner CV's were done a couple of years back
How the feck do you remove CV joints
I have seen a video on Youtube of a guy holding the driveshaft in a vice and tapping the CV joint off with a hammer
Now i have tried this on one of my driveshafts and it worked fine, the other however is another story, it won't budge no matter how hard i whack it
What am i doing wrong?????
HELP PLEASE
I'm assuming you mean a Beemer 540
I suppose that is quite a big difference in car to go from a large engined executive saloon to a relatively small engine sports coupe though
Anything in particular you aren't jelling with, i suppose the engine takes some getting used to being that it needs to be revved hard
Yep, i did a DIY job on a previous car, lasted about 3 weeks before it fell out
Just pick up the phone and speak to your insurance company, that is what we pay them extortionate amounts of money for, you may as well get your monies worth out of them
How about a Paseo, basically a Starlet with a coupe body, slightly smaller than a Celica, but a more economical 1.5 engine
I have never driven a Paseo, but my ex's old Starlet was really quite fun to drive
