  1. Hey i got all the stuff i needed and in the space of 10 mins I changed all my indicators- looks great BUT! I was finishing off and came to lock the car and realised that the short flash is literally sooo short you can barely see it! you have to look direct at the car! its because the LED's cut the power short and there is less heating and cooling. so because of this its an absolutely tiny flash and I can't tell quickly if the car is locked or not now. any fixes around this? like any way to increase the time they would stay on? p.s when doing 3 button presses the led flashes for a long time as the previous light did so thats no problem...its just the 2 clicks to get to deadlock thanks
  2. Hey. I'm getting cams done too hopefully. What other stuff you doing to the car and is it because your car needs it or just an upgrade of stuff while your at it? Xheers
  3. Magnatec is not v good oil though. Im sure I can even get it cheaper than that from my mates place if anyone wants any. I heard Edge is better- which he also has so i get that for the other cars
  4. If I bang on a socket will it not mess it up? Also where can over other locking wheel nuts from? A nice shinny set I mean!
  5. Thanks guys Defo not in the boot since I took everything out and put sound deadening in the boot so that was stripped to the metal. Will check inside. It must be somewhere!
  6. yeah the nut is with the box so that is also missing. im so surprised! ive never lost it before. so if i dont have the code i can just go to MR T anyways? are all the locking nuts different for the GT's?
  7. Hey I have a celica GT with the Tech 5 wheels and was about to put on some spacers that I bought of J03 but have realised I dont know where my locking wheel nut is- ive looked everywhere. Will Mr T be able to sell me another one or anywhere else I can get the ad on for? or will I have to get the nuts cut off....oh no! thank in advance G
  8. And done! Plan to do the whole centre section in alcantara!
  9. Hey what is the name of the high temp adhesive spray people have used to glue fabric to their headliners? and where did people get it from? thanks
  10. Sorry rp Didn't reply to your comment! It was from a chap called marty who has an eBay shop and it has a backing which I ripped right off! Lol Looks great. I love it
  11. Lol no I mean back on topic regarding if anyone have installed this It would sill work with the key to take ye car to on- I would not mess about with that at all. Just interested in other designs and if it can be wired up as per the other start button people have done
  12. Back on topic here guys! Lol Who has this, who has seen it in the flesh, any other gearknob designs out there and finally how to wire? A few members have wired up a Button in the cig lighter hole so is this the same principal but now it's on the gearknob? If I can follow that guide and wire this I'm so getting one!
  13. I love that! Actual gear knob is a bit too aftermarket looking for me but if I was to find a nice knob with a start button I would get it!
  14. where is the best place to buy seafoam? and where can we get those pipes from? just take them off the air box yea? also when you put 1/3 in yur petrol tank, how much petrol should you have? full tank? hardly anything etc
  15. thread revival! ive emailed the Head office again to get the official letter with the numbers- hotmail deleted ALL my inbox last year but kept my "sent items" so i was able to get my reference number from there. she said they dont have a record of the number of them- maybe just the dates they were "born" lol anyways ive asked her if we can give the cars chassis number can she tell us what date they were made/ the number they were from the factory? surely manufacturers number their cars though i.e "today we rolled out 5 celica gt's and their chassis numbers are....." surely they must keep a record for their own accounts? aybe Planc might be of assistance since he works at Toyota?
  16. i think it looks ace! ive wanted mine done for ages and ive done it now and love it!
  17. yeah remove the brake fluid cap under the bonnet then i could move the piston almost by hand...very tough but its doable. if u leave the cap on then you can't lol. the pressure has to go somewhere
  18. 6000K looks good but 4300K will give the best light output...its the colour on stock HID cars such as audi, bmw etc. Also i would say DONT BUY FROM HIDS DIRECT. cant even be bothered going in to the hassle but it was a lot. their kits are shocking in terms of quality and yeah get digital slim ballasts...they perform much much better!
  19. s_pid that would be great! only if your not using it though. Would help me out at the moment with costs and stuff. I'll PM you
  20. hmm £50 is a bit much, ive got a wedding to pay for in 5 weeks so i think i can manage about £30 and no more lol
