  1. Quite happy with my lovely red strut as it is Even though it's more "pinkish" I still like it
  2. I want to do this, along with battery tie bar and possibly the metal bonnet holdy up arm thingie. Waiting till pay day on the 7th though
  3. Cheap short shifters do! But are a lot former than the standard and can be awkward to pop into gear occasionally from past eBay experience. Dtracers is meant to be best bang for buck though! But the trd smoothness is awesome. Can't compare the dtracer and this as never tried one!
  4. I've just picked up rear strut and sportsM dials which I have no idea how to convert to read in MPH or if they will propperly yet. So I know how you feel Back on topic though!
  5. DarraghTRD has one for sale from his sports M Not sure if its been claimed or not yet...
  6. Cheap short shifter can make things more difficult. A DTracer shifter with the se7en brass bushes and a oil change may help. Think serratia had a similar issue when he installed his JDM box and it needed parts replacing but not 100% sure. Also celicaben is having a similar issue going into 6th.. http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/152539-after-five-years-new-username-and-lift/page__st__100#entry1916479 Dunno if any of that will help
  7. I went for the K&N with the nut built in. Ordered everything from opieoils. My shopping list was.... http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-899-motul-gear-300-75w-90-racing-gearbox-and-differential-lubricant-100-synthetic-ester-based.aspx http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68993-motul-8100-x-max-0w-40-high-power-petrol-and-diesel-engine-oil.aspx And they make the engine and gearbox really smooth!
  8. Plasma dials. Nay. Mook dials. Yay.
  9. "way of doing it" intrigues me. As cheapest I found for a bumper (for example) was £700 shipping.....
  10. check out opieoils. Enter the code "ccuk" and get another 10% discount as well
  11. I mean i was surprised by how much actually went in after a change. I was expecting about 4 litres but just went straight in (dont mean its drinking the oil in terms of using any )
  12. mine is showing bang on the maximum line. Checked when i got home and warmed the engine up completely
  13. My car drank up pretty much the full 5 litres with the filter change. Not complaining as meant i didnt have the extra kicking about but deffinetly worth it as the engine feels so much smoother! I didnt do mine myself though, got the garage to do it
  14. Just passed my MOT without any problems with HIDs in Mentioned it to the MOT center and he said "basically theirs a massive grey area, we could fail them if we wanted but as long as they are lined up propperly and dont cause glare their is no issues with them"
  15. Happy Anniversary MYK!

  16. Also. A massive thanks to mek for bringing these up from ams!! (Also good to put a face to a name - even though didnt get chance to fully check out your car it sounded and looked nice when driving off )
  17. I've never heard of tigerseal coming off before or an easy way to remove it. I struggled to get that crap off my hands even! Fantastic product does exactly what it says on the tin!
  18. I have my own reasons for not liking carbon but posted it as its what everyone seems to love and "carbon wrapping" seems to be massive on here
  19. carbon or matt blue? (I dont like carbon but a lot of people do )
  20. Make sure it's not water absorbent foam....
