  1. Mate them fronts are shocking....I reckon that would have been the state of mine if I'd have just left them. Not the most pleasant experience to for my first use of EBC discs Hope the MTecs hold up better
  2. Changed over my turbo grooved discs this weekend & this is what hey looked like on the backs of the front discs ... Might explain why they felt so crap........The face of the discs looked fine though? Both sides of the rear discs were fine..
  3. Sweet......cheers mate I think mine have arrived, got an email from works post room saying I have a box of brakes. Not ordered anything else, so must be them.....I'll nip in tomorrow morning & see
  4. Nice one...... Verdict? Or you yet to fit them.
  5. Cheers mate Any preference over the plain/grooved/dimpled etc ?
  6. Thanks.....i think that's gonna be the best way to go Might finally get rid of the annoying 't..t..t..t..t' noise too......Hope the Mtecs don't do it too
  7. If i were to replace my EBC discs with the Mtec ones, would it be wise to change the greenstuff pads too, or will the pads be fine with the new discs?(Only reason i ask is that theres loads of wear left on the pads) Cheers
  8. Dodgy batch maybe, cause over the last few weeks mine have been doing the very same thing too Getting seriously pissed off with them now....Think it's time to change them....
  9. That's excellent mate.....well done
  10. Usually start getting bored of cars after 4-5 years, but I still love the look & feel of the Celica. I'm still very protective of her & double/triple glance at her everytime I walk away I've contemplated selling a few times lately to get something a bit more economical, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.......I just love the car that much & wouldn't want to change it for anything else at the moment My mate has a 3ltr twin turbo'd Supra pushing about 450bhp & he's looking to come back to another 7
  11. You gonna be the first person with carbon fibre pupils? Can only mirror what the other folks have said mate, but glad you're staying positive over it all....
  12. The double dins in the 7 fasten into the frame, which is bolted to the console chassis. Whole centre console needs to come off to fit/remove (hence why I've not changed the infills for the surround yet) The jvc units are definitley top quality & i believe the fascia screen is removable on all the avx & nx ranges
  13. The jvc brackets need bending so that it will sit further back & flush with the console, but it wasnt a hard job to do at all. They basically sit like this I have the Toyota infills for the sides, which do work, but don't give the best finish. I do have a proper full Toyota surround to put in place of the infills, which should make the finish look much better.......I just haven't got round to it yet.
  14. Bit too early yet mate as I've hardly covered any miles. Use the missus car on a weekend as it's easier to get the shopping in the back
  15. Just added my can today Tank topped up & reset counter to 0....I know it says 5.7, but original pic was a bit blurred (as if it really matters ) Let's see what we get out of it.
  16. JVC KW-NX7000 I have the AVX810 model (no sat nav) & it's a great headunit
  17. That looks pretty funky mate.....I do like the blue lights
  18. No ta! Doesn't look overly healthy does it.
