  1. If yours is a 3sge then you can definately use your existing carriers. You just need to take the calipers off the carriers. You also need to remove the carriers off the twin pots as well. As has been said, Mondos is a3sfe, so had the smaller carriers fitted which are the same as the UK spec 1.8 so they aren't the right size for the twin pot ones.
  2. Is your car a 3sge 2 litre to start with Mitch. I never asked you that on PM earlier?
  3. It would have to be black Mani. Definatley not red mate. I think they would blend too much with the paint work if you did them red.
  4. Yes they should be fine. As long as they have a bright enough light to shine through and the tint isn't too dark.
  5. For a quick fix and I know this sounds bit cheap, but use some parade gloss black shoe polish on the area. It will colour the leather well enough to hide the faded parts. Just be careful around the red stitching. Then for a perfect job in the future get Mondo to do the repair. His work is top notch as I have seen it in the flesh.
  6. Try changing the "DOME" fuse which is in the long fuse box under the engine bay. The dome fuse causes loads of electrical isssues on the gen6. It controls the interior lighting etc.. ( Not quite sure what changing the fuse will do TBH, but its worth a shot. ) Failing that I would imagine the integration relay is what is at fault. It is located on the back of the main fuse holding in the drivers side below the steering wheel. It is a large yellow/cream coloured unit about 3 inches by and inch and a half in size. ( On the imports it can be a greeny /blue colour) If you want one, then let me know what colour yours is and get the part number off it. I will more than likely have one in stock.
  7. Well done Mick, but your car certainly deserves it mate. It looked gorgeous when I saw it at West One the other week. I will be picking up a copy tomorrow
  8. As has been said the door sensors are on the "B" post of the car under the rubber covers. There may be a problem with the wiring on one of them though. If you undo the 1 x 10mm bolt that holds it to the car, you can then pull the sensor out of the "B" pillar and you will see the wiring. There is a plug on the wire and you can remove the sensor itself. It may have a broken connection.
  9. You wouldn't believe the amount of wings I sell. I get asked for them every week. They are actually quite strong the Toyota panels, so they need to get a good old whack to create a dent in them too.
  10. I think that the front of the curren is lovely, but I don't like the back end. I know people in the States have done the gen6 conversion with the curren front end and this is the best look for the car really. I would think that the Curren should be allowed on the CCUK stand really as it wouldn't really have anywhere else to go at a car show as there would be no specific clubs dedicated to it and the Celica is its closest relative so to speak.
  11. Just read this thread in the GT4 section of the club. Could be worth a read as it shows the adaptor hubs to change from 100 to 114.3 http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/119500-front-and-rear-spacers/
  12. Sods Law, you can never win whatever you want to,. But you always win the things you are not arsed about Refurb them mate and maybe even get a profit out of it.
  13. Don't panic, I am still here DD1, yes mate, I still want the engine cover, not sure why I haven't got your pm's I'll drop you a PM tonight mate.
  14. Hi Ray, I know this is a little bit off the topic, but that GT4 in the picture is the nicest gen6 I think I have ever seen. Whose is that?
  15. Yes they are the standard SportsM seats. They also did the red/grey ones as well. Other than the bumper its a great car. If I were in the look out for a new Gen7, I would seriously consider it, But would get it collected and then change the nose over immediately as I couldn't be seen driving with that front end.
  16. I've got a couple of panels in stock that you could fix that with Seriously though, glad you are ok, looks like it was a bit of a whack.
  17. This really shows what a great club this is. Well done that man
  18. ST202 and ST205 front seat are Definately the same mounting. I personally swapped a set of seats out of a 1.8 and fitted them into a GT4 st205 a couple of years ago. The rear bench seat is slightly different as the st202 has more foam underneath it to accomodate the different floor plan with the diff tunnel etc.. ( This is no problem with regards the subframes though) So the frames in the link will fit a GT fine. Trust me

  20. No problem at all. Glad that we could help It does sound like it could very well be a cable has snaped on the hand brake. If you end up finding out that it is a cable, then just ask, as I have a few in stock. Nick
  21. I'll get that front window surround out to you tomorrow Dawn, I presume its the passenger one as you hada passenger rear quarter off me earlier in the year? I'm just packaging things up at the moment, so just let me know and I can get the right one out.
  22. Bloody Hell Dawn, you are having some bad luck with the car at the moment with the attempted break in. I will send you a front window surround panel for free as I have loads in, but I have no rear quarters removed from the cars at the moment. When I get one off you can have one of those as well. I will send you one out on Monday. Just let me know which side you need. At least this might help slightly. Then put your money towards a good alarm as has been said.
  23. I have owned both, well kind of. I have had 2 x gen6 GT4's ( Beasted's car used to be mine and also a black st205 I had a few years back ) and I must say that they are immense cars. I have currently got a gen7 190 in thunder grey with an original GT kit fitted ( So in a sense a GT albeit an import, however it has got the same expensive suspension as the 205 - superstrut ) Personally I love the look of the gen7, which I know a lot of people don't. But the gen6 GT4 is a fabulous looking car as well. I am still favouring the gen7 though as I feel that it is cheaper to run and has nice looks once kitted up. Its definately down to personal choice, but you have chosen 2 great cars there.
  24. What are those wheels that you have fitted mate, I really like them?
  25. Personally I would try and get a new windscreen off the insurance and pay the excess. I had a chip repaired in my old RX8 and it drove me mad as you could still see it.
