  1. Did you inject it (Waxoyl) into the sills and chassis rails? I have a similar floating shots.
  2. Simon, you should be able to do this!! Your car with a Police Officer next to it (With their car in the pic)
  3. Don't ask me about Norfolk inbreeding, I was born in Woolwich, London and Julie was born in St Aseph, Wales.
  4. I can supply you with a copy of the test they did on my car, showing it was done at the higher RPM.
  5. I've edited the title for you. FYI any Club Member is able to change their own thread title. Click "Edit", then select "Full Edit" this will then let you change the title, then select "Submit Modified Post"
  6. What's the worst that can happen if you go to court? You know your car is too loud, but the main issue is the method of testing.
  7. There was a Gen3 that sold on Ebay that only has 3900 miles on. Yes under 4 thousand miles.
  8. No one won it (as such). I just gave my car as an example, even then I got it wrong as it's 18k miles over the last 2 years!! But it has covered 4k miles since June 10th. I still have the award and it anyone would like to stake a claim on it. Send me your mileage by Japshow Finale and I'll get the award to you. I'll need to know the mileage (and dates) at the MOT in 2010, 2011, 2012 and what it is at now. The one that has the highest average mileage over the last 12 months or so will win.
  9. Modified Live in 2 weeks should prove some rich pickings for Norfolk Police. All of the loud exhausts will be coming straight past them, they'll have their pick
  10. Dunno, sent them a pic and ask for a quote. What's the worst that can happen?
  11. Don't SORN it, nothing worse than having a car Insured + MOT'd and not being able to legally drive it on the road. A car is for driving, just avoid the "Salt" in the harshest bit of the winter.
  12. But at least he's not driving around in one of those stupid Mini's !! Kishan I hope you've told your Insurance Co if using the car for work.
  13. The only crime in Norfolk is road crime. Well apart from the odd Murder on the Broads, maybe a stabbing or 2 on a Sat night in the center of Norwich, oh a bit of sheep rustling, and of course the biggest danger to human life, Boy racers (those in their 40's) in Celicas with exhausts that are far too loud. No other crime to report
  14. On the front keep it std UK but remove the Plate holder and bolt straight to the bumper, much, much smoother.
  15. I drove though Attleborough this afternoon, double de-clutching etc. I was overtaken by a Ducati, strange, his exhaust was far louder than mine.
  16. I think the phrase they used for me was 3/4 of "Red LIne". I had to rev up to 4866 Rpm, so I think I might have a drive around Attleborough agian !!
  17. But the 74Db is not the level for a the ISO 5130 type test!!
  18. They "Calibrate" the unit in front of you, so there's no argument there (I guess). I also checked up on ISO 5130, it was carried out to the letter. But like MonkeyBoy I can't actually find anywhere on the DVLA/VOSA website that give a set sound (Db) level Lucky for me I was under the "Fine" level, one small way around it would be to change your Redline on the Rev counter to say 4000 Rpm so that when they test at 3/4 of Redline it would only be 3000Rpm That would be a lot quieter
  19. Sounds just like my experience in Attleborough earlier this year
